The article Mary alexandra stiefvater has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Re:Did I correct the errors properly?

[edit]

Yes, the article is better now. Thanks for your contributions to the article. Both Mary alexandra stiefvater and Mary Alexandra Stiefvater appear because the article was moved (see Wikipedia:Moving a page) to capitalise the full name. In certain cases, the lowercased version will be deleted, but the lowercased name is acceptable and searchable in this case. SwisterTwister talk 21:55, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mary Alexandra Stiefvater

[edit]

I deleted this article as a result of the (unanimous) consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mary Alexandra Stiefvater that she does not meet Wikipedia's WP:Notability requirement for entertainers, explained at WP:NACTOR. Wikipedia is actually quite choosy about subjects for articles. Having been deleted at a deletion discussion means that the article cannot simply be posted again; you must first try to convince me, as the admin who closed the discussion, that the problems it identified have been overcome. Then, if I don't agree, you can go to WP:Deletion review.

If you want to try, I will userfy the article for you - move it into your user space for you to work on. But please think hard about notability first: if a subject simply does not meet the notability requirements, that cannot be fixed by rewriting or by piling up more and more trivial references; but people often waste a lot of time and energy trying. Read the good advice at Wikipedia:No amount of editing can overcome a lack of notability. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:33, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Mary Alexandra Stiefvater.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded for Mary Alexandra Stiefvater. No other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 13:39, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
