User talk:ThomasKrevsky
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Kerry Beaumont, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Kerry Beaumont is a foreign language article that was copied and pasted from another Wikimedia project, or was transwikied out to another project (CSD A2).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Kerry Beaumont, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Vandalism
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Kerry Beaumont, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. StaticGull Talk 15:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ros0709 (talk) 15:11, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Ros0709 (talk) 15:13, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. StaticGull Talk 15:14, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Thomas, despite the warnings above, your edits were likely made in good faith, so I've unblocked your account. I hope this hasn't discouraged you from editing. In the future, please don't remove speedy deletion notices. It's recommended that you place a {{hangon}} tag in the article instead. With that being said,
Welcome!

Speedy deletion
[edit]Hello, ThomasKrevsky. I noticed you've had some trouble in regards to an article you created being nominated for speedy deletion. Please know that it doesn't necessarily mean the article will be deleted, or that anyone thinks poorly of your contribution. If you think the article does satisfy the notability policy, just add " {{hangon}} " to the article, and add an explanation of why you think the subject is notable to the article's talk page. I think the admin who blocked you was a bit too hasty in such an action, and have asked him to unblock you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, and I'll do my best to help you. I hope that you don't take this incident the wrong way, and continue to contribute to Wikipedia. Regards, Parsecboy (talk) 15:58, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Kerry Beaumont
[edit]You placed a deletion tag on Kerry Beaumont but also need to follow the instructions to make it work. Don't expect an article to be deleted just because the subject says so. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:22, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- If it's really the subject that wants it deleted, please have him submit a ticket to WP:OTRS - but there still has to be a good reason for it. Cheers, ansh666 18:08, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
Help request copied from an IP talk page
[edit]Please help me with my request to have the WikiPedia article about "Kerry Beaumont" deleted - I put a deletion tag on it a few days ago, at his request, but not knowing the procedure for this sort of thing I didn't know what to do or what to expect. You sent me a message requesting that Kerry Beaumont (the subject) submits a ticket for this request saying that the request would not automatically be granted and that he would have to submit a good reason to have it deleted. I don't know if this a good enough reason or not, but the reason he wants the page deleted is that he would like to reduce his web profile and have a little more privacy. But he doesn't know how to submit a ticket about this. How does he do that?

- Mr Beaumont should send an email to
info-en-qwikimedia.org
, the contact address given at Wikipedia:Contact us - Subjects. The relevant policy is at WP:BIODEL; I think myself that Mr Beaumont's achievements make him sufficiently notable that a deletion request is unlikely to be successful, but the Wikipedia:Volunteer Response Team can advise in response to his email. If there is any inaccuracy in the article, he should tell them of that.
- If it is decided to start a deletion discussion, and you need any help with the mechanics of setting it up, let me know. JohnCD (talk) 10:12, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
