Question about Wikipedia article
Dear Tgeairn,
In the article page on me in Wikipedia (titled: Mir Ali (engineer)) there is a box on the top. The web site is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mir_Ali_(engineer) I wonder why it is there. I was referred to you by Johan Bos since I asked this question to Wikipedia. Please let me know what should be done to remove the box.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: Ticket#2013012510001916
Thanks Tgearin for your response. As you could see, on the Mir Ali (engineer) article, a notation box has been placed for a long time. It is basically asking for some modifications of the article, but unfortunately does not give specifics as what those modifications have to be. I would be grateful if you could let me know the specific further actions that need to be carried out; therefore, the notation box could be removed permanently.
Thank you, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rima25 (talk • contribs) 14:46, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Alexander Gustafsson reach
Hi, Tgeairn!
I tried to change Gustafsson`s reach wich is currently incorrect. Gustafsson himself told today during "Jones vs Gustafsson pre-fight conference call" that his reach is actually 81.2 inches. Its has been a pretty common knowledge that his reach has been listed wrong for years and now we had the man himself told us his exact reach. I tried to add link as a source for that conference call but couldnt because I suck with computers. Here it is at 14:15 time:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Manaki Brothers Film Festival, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Billy Williams (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

the word archenemy in comics.
Hi, Tgeairn! I tried to change archenemy in dc comics wich is currently incorrect. ras al ghul is not batman s archenemy because the word "archenemy" is given only by superhero s creator (Bob Kane in Batman s case)and not by others. Here i let you some words that Bob kane said about the joker:
- "The Joker became my biggest villain and the archenemy of Batman, with a relationship as classical like Sherlock Holmes with Professor Moriarty"
- "[Bruce Wayne] became, in his own way, as psychotic as the Joker, except the Joker fights against justice and for evil. They're mirror images of each other." (People, 1989)
Bob Kane has spoken.
example :some fans calls misterio spiderman s archenemy but he s not his archenemy . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.48.124.183 (talk) 03:07, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Kirk's "anti-Semitism"
In the talk page of Kirk's bio, I laid out my thoughts. I seek no fight except I also shall not permit academic malfeasance and dishonoring of the dead, without cause or reason. Political vendettas are not content of encyclopedia. Kirk opposed Zionist militancy, NOT Jews -- he abhorred Nazi pagan barbarism culminating in group massacre. The unwarranted, utterly polemical and hyper-aggressive insertion of anti-Semitism is simply a piece of psychological propaganda disguised as information.
My personal relation is irrelevant as I am objective and if objective, the ancestral tie is then sheer ad hominem if I am attacked thusly. Scholarly rectitude and preservation of the name of unjustly assaulted persons are equally valuable in my mind.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.52.186.148 (talk) 02:30, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- Hello! I'm not sure what you are requesting, but I can offer a few tips.
- First, your language is not that of an objective editor; you may want to tone down the accusations and assertions, particularly given that you have a stated agenda with these edits.
- Second, I will selectively quote from two of Wikipedia's five pillars:
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia: It combines many features of general and specialized encyclopedias, almanacs, and gazetteers. Wikipedia is not a soapbox, an advertising platform, a vanity press, an experiment in anarchy or democracy, an indiscriminate collection of information, or a web directory. It is not a dictionary, a newspaper, or a collection of source documents, although some of its fellow Wikimedia projects are.
- Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view: We strive for articles that document and explain the major points of view, giving due weight with respect to their prominence in an impartial tone. We avoid advocacy and we characterize information and issues rather than debate them. In some areas there may be just one well-recognized point of view; in others, we describe multiple points of view, presenting each accurately and in context rather than as "the truth" or "the best view". All articles must strive for verifiable accuracy, citing reliable, authoritative sources, especially when the topic is controversial or a living person. Editors' personal experiences, interpretations, or opinions do not belong.
- Third, removing sourced content without discussion is generally not acceptable. There are, of course, many exceptions to this general rule. If the content in the articles you are editing is poorly sourced, disputed, or violates any of the policies above; I suggest you raise the issue at the article talk page first. Form consensus with other editors and make your changes, being sure to reliably source any additions.
- Finally, although it is certainly not required to create an account to edit and participate here; the IP address you are using appears to be dynamic and may prevent others from readily communicating with you.
- Thank you for editing, and thank you for reading my recommendations. Cheers! --Tgeairn (talk) 02:47, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

We are European Americans, not some non-color White. All other ethnicities enjoy that courtesy and respect, but you go back and change my updates, after I corrected the racial bias in the earlier bigoted wording. Khatumo
Dear Tgeairn,
I have received your message regarding Khatumo that been edited by Middayexpress on a contineus basis.
Middayexpress claims that;
"Khatumo is derived from an Arabic term meaning a "positive conclusion." The administration's stated aim is to bring development and stability to the region through the establishment of a locally-based government.”
Control of the Sool, Sanaag and Cayn (SSC) regions is disputed between the autonomous Puntland and Somaliland regions of Somalia, as well as local unionist authorities.[4] Unlike Somaliland, Khatumo State does not seek secession, and supports a united Somalia."
I do not agree with this statement because Khatumo State is already an established regional administration , and what does Middayexpress mean with unionist authorities. There is only one unionist authority in North Somalia and that is Khatumo State of Somalia, why not refer to it by its name?
I am sorry to say this but the pattern that I see is that Mr. Middayexpress is trying to deny the existence and relevance of Khatumo state. This Narrative is often used by "Somaliland and Puntland" Supporters.
Also notice that Middayexpress also often edits Wikipedia from Puntland, Galmudug, Maakhir, Somaliland and ofcourse Khatumo. All are neighbours of Puntland, and which Puntland is in a "propaganda" war with. Can you please make sure MR. Middayexpress stops editing the Khatumo State page.
Thank you!
If you require more information about Khatumo State, please be free to ask.

- @Khaatumo.holland and Middayexpress:
- Hello! Looking at the history for that page, I can see that there has been a fair amount of back-and-forth. I recommend that you use the article talk page to describe your changes to the article and reach WP:consensus. Right now, the back-and-forth adding and removal of text is an edit war and doesn't create a better article. If you need any help working with the talk page or reaching consensus, don't hesitate to ask. You can also place
{{help me}}
on your talk page and someone else will come along to assist. Thank you, Tgeairn (talk) 13:40, 1 October 2013 (UTC)- I've explained the situation on the user's talk page and in edit summaries, though the article's talk page is certainly fine too. Regards, Middayexpress (talk) 14:08, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Tgeairn,
I have added my comments in "Talks". And will try to reach a consensus, however it will be very difficult for me to accept suggestion from Middayexpress, that deviate from the facts but I will try.
KHAATUMOHOLLAND
Hello Tgeairn,
I have tried to reach out to Middayexpress to reach consensus about Khatumo page. And will keep trying.

Hey I don't have proof cause I know! There is no article or source for it cause I saw him. I worked with him. I talked to him at work. I don't know if anyone out there has pictures from it but I can assure you he worked at Wal-Mart 406 in Smyrna, TN. Feel free to call them and confirm: 615-355-1029. He worked in TLE/Automotives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.181.165.46 (talk) 18:51, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
