The article Doxey pool has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable location, fails the GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Guoguo12--Talk-- 16:44, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Additions to Rainow and Lud's Church articles
[edit]Hi there and welcome to Wikipedia. Can I direct you to the discussion page for the Rainow article, where I've moved (and commented on) the section you added on the "historical heritage" of Rainow? Your material is interesting and relevant, and can be reinstated if you can provide citations to published works that confirm some of the statements in your new material, but Wikipedia has firm policies on original research and verifiability, which your additions don't really meet (I've outlined some of my concerns on the discussion page). Your additions to Lud's Church are similarly problematic unless referenced by reliable sources. If you haven't already done so, have a look at the New contributors' help page for advice.
