Greetings and... please help

Greetings Therequiembellishere. Looking back over the history of Haji Mohammad Chamkani, I see that you made a couple of edits there some time ago, and I'm looking for an editor who might know something about the subject. I'm pretty active over at Wikipedia in Spanish and yesterday I reverted an edit by an IP that claimed the guy was dead but providing a reference that I was unable to translate using Google. So I came over here to see if I could get any further info., but found the same claim, this time unreferenced, and which I removed. The other WPs I've checked make no mention of his death. I have been unable to find any news anywhere on this matter in the English/Spanish language press and as this is a potentially serious BLP issue, I would appreciate any pointers. Your edits... again

Hey there, again I'd like to bring up your mass edits to US Reps. The first is the removal of .'s from degree abbreviations (B.A. -> BA; J.D. -> JD). The second of which is the use is ({{small) instead of (<small) because it changes how small the subject will become based upon how much space is available in the infobox.

I had the "in use" tag on Gregory A. Phillips for a good reason, to avoid edit conflicts. You disrupted a major edit I was making, which I fortunately was able to recover. US Cabinet nominees

Howdy. We prefer to use the infoboxes for office holders, not Office nominees. Also, Jewell (like Lew & Hagel) is not Secretary of the Interior-designate (that occurs between Senate confirmation & being sworn in), but rather the Secretary of the Interior-nominee. Okay, one editor tells me that succession boxes are redundant when you have a drop-down list then, when I remove the box, another editor puts it back. Please get it together. I notice that at several articles on Nebraska politicians, you've repeatedly changed University of Nebraska-Lincoln to University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Although a Google search indicates that both versions are in use, the former is almost always used in Nebraska. It's used by the school itself and by the student newspaper; it's also the version used by Nebraska's two largest newspapers, the Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star. A search of the New York Times website for ("university of nebraska lincoln"), which should capture both versions, shows an occasional story in which the comma version is used, but the great preponderance of hits show the dashed version; it also appears to be the form used by Reuters. Wikipedia's own article uses the dash rather than the comma in its title. Although a Google search for ("university of nebraska lincoln") indicates that respectable sources use the comma'd version, the dashed version appears to predominate; I'd suggest that we use it, absent compelling grounds for doing otherwise. • politicial parties: let's use the acronyms with links to the article instead of the full name of the political party
• website: use the website template to display his website rather than the words 'official website'

, as was the summary to changes such as this, is not a legitimate reason to: 1) Removing native_language = zh-hans parameters (
see WP:MOS-ZH; this is required for certain browsers to properly select fonts
). 2) Changing birthplace fields from what is often previously "PLACE, PROVINCE" to "PLACE, CHINA", when not one CCP leader is not Chinese-born, and "PLACE" by itself is often ambiguous, and moreover, vague in such a large land. You would not dare to do the same for, for example, Portland, Oregon and Portland, Maine, would you? Be more careful, lest future such edits begin to verge on intentional disruption. The changes you are making - as have been noticed by other people - are against consensus. But, there's no point in us keeping us this back and forth forever. Dear Therequiembellishere, thank you for your contributions to the page Ishaq Dar. Although most of the info in the introductory paragraphs were from a published profile, I have still deleted them from there as you rightly believed that it sends out a 'so-to-say' bias impression (they however remain as part of the published profile segment). All the information provided about the page have references so you can go through them all if you wish. The country is in a great mess, believe it or not internationally people rely on information about a person on Wiki! Since everything is sourced and referenced; I would appreciate if you dont make changes to stuff like the INFOBOX, "Senator" is his title and his full name is MOHAMMAD ISHAQ DAR. And his Prime Minister is Nawaz Sharif and not Khoso, so adding info like Khoso as his Prime Minister before Sharif is incorrect. My objective is not to favor or be bias, representing one of the most important ministers in the best way possible (without lies of course) is the best I can do to contribute to my country's well-being and believe me portraying (rightly, not without references etc) the Finance Minister of Pakistan as a capable and respectful man (its a fact) is my service to my country as it surely makes a difference! Also I dont know why you keep deleting the political offices held by him at the end of the page. They are mere facts! Please dont delete them, he has held or holds those offices! Thanks. Australia and Rudd

I'm puzzled. What's the point of this edit? There's no such think as a "Prime Minister-designate". And in any case, until such time as he can demonstrate that he has the support of the independents, he can't form govt. and he can't be PM - designate or otherwise. It's in anticipation of the event, which may very well end up with an Abbott caretaker government but it seems less likely, judging by the news sources. I'm keeping them hidden because, obviously, it's not a confirmed thing and would violate WP:CRYSTAL but by having it there at all, it helps preclude people from doing just that (replacing Gillard with Rudd and so on). I saw you reverted my note on the Sultan of Brunei pointing out that he has been Sultan since 1967. The reason I put that note up was to avoid a potential reader thinking Hassanal came to the throne in 1984, but rather that 1 January 1984 saw only a change in Brunei's status. Please provide your basis for indicating Zeidan's term as Prime Minister has ended. Being kidnapped disables someone from carrying out Prime Minister duties, but it doesn't make someone not Prime Minister. When a U.S. president, for example, is incapacitated, the Vice President becomes Acting President, not President. In the U.S. we have a constitutional basis for carrying out succession.
