W. Ron Allen
[edit]Hello, I have moved the article that you have written back to User:Therealethanmayfield/W. Ron Allen. This is because one of the sources cited, upon which the article is majorly reliant, appears to be an interview you have made with the subject. Unfortunately it appears that you have misunderstood how Wikipedia content is created - we rely only on previously published information and what you have done is termed original research and is forbidden. @Brianda (Wiki Ed): FYI. SmartSE (talk) 10:55, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hello again, you seem to have gotten confused and not realised that it was me who moved the article and not Brianda. I have looked into the article more and found numerous more problems with it's content as you can see from the page history. Given all of those problems that I found in 10 minutes, I am again going to move the article back to your user space as it is clearly not ready to be published. If you want to work on it more there, please do, but if you move it back again without fixing the problems, I won't have much choice but to request that you are blocked from editing. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 15:03, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you @Smartse for reviewing the work and explaining the reasoning for the edit reverts and for moving the work back to their sandbox.
- @Therealethanmayfield, as you can see based on the edit summaries left by Smartse, a lot of the information you added to the article could not be found in the sources you used, failing verification. Wikipedia is not a place to publish your ideas or conclusions about a topic. That’s considered “original research.” "No original research" means your writing for Wikipedia will summarize what other independent, reliable secondary sources have said about W. Ron Allen, so that a Wikipedia reader can get an overview of the current thoughts and understanding of that topic. I can see you've gone back and removed content that wasn't supported by sources. I recommend you find more reliable sources from journals or perhaps there is a tribe newspaper or other local trustworthy news coverage that can support the notability of this person.
- And remember to assume good faith from Wiki volunteers. If you don't understand an edit, engage in dialogue to see how to improve the work. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:08, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:W. Ron Allen, you may be blocked from editing. You may not remove other people's comments from article talk pages. And once a comment of yours has been responded to, you should not remove those either. This is at least the third time you have done this. If you do it again, you will most likely get blocked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Onel5969 (talk • contribs) 09:17, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
