Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Themoontheeye) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.
There are two issues with this:
- It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
- Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.
Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Your contribution at Afc
[edit] Thank you for submitting an article to Wikipedia. Your submission has been reviewed and has been put on hold pending clarification or improvements from you or other editors. Please take a look and respond if possible. You can find it at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mr Young. If there is no response within twenty-four hours the request may be declined; if this happens feel free to continue to work on the article. You can resubmit it (by adding the text {{subst:AFC submission/submit}}
to the top of the article) when you believe the concerns have been addressed. Thank you.
This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
Not sure how to proceed next. I read somewhere that, to remain neutral, I can ask an editor to write about me. Is this possible? I am an independent filmmaker and therefore do not make money from my filmmaking output. I can happily change the username if it helps. I have indicated the third party site verifying the story I updated.

- Yes, you can request an article about yourself, and WP:Articles for creation, which you have used, is the right way to go about it. However, in order to have an article, you have to meet Wikipedia's notability criterion, which is not a matter of opinion but requires showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." More detail in WP:Notability (people), particularly (for a film-maker) the section WP:CREATIVE. See also WP:Autobiography. JohnCD (talk) 13:36, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

below this notice. Thank you. Courcelles 03:12, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Hello Themoontheeye. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Mr Young.
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mr Young}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Hasteur (talk) 01:14, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
