Hello, Thegreatrebellion

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Curbon7, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Azam Baki, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Curbon7}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Senior Minister

[edit]

Hi Thegreatrebellion, I am a little confused by the Canadian Senior Ministers in Senior Minister. Clearly the Senior Minister that existed pre-1977 is 'former', but you also have listed the Senior Minister of Canada as a former title. In Deputy Prime Minister of Canada#Senior Minister it gives no indication that this title is no longer in use. Is the second Canadian Senior Minister title former or still in use?

Also, since the title given in the note is also ambiguous, I changed it into an entry. If the descriptions are incorrect, please let me know and I will fix them. Thanks, Leschnei (talk) 14:50, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you have added Creative Commons licensed text to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Sauk Siege. You are welcome to import appropriate Creative Commons licensed content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Compatibly-licensed sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any Creative Commons content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. – Pbrks (t • c) 06:57, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying/moving text within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Al-Ma'unah into Sauk Siege. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:08, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sauk Siege moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sauk Siege, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 22:24, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi @Thegreatrebellion: I'm sorry I made a mistake in taking the content out the Sauk Siege article and putting a copyright warning on your talk page. It was a mistake on my part. I thought that section was copyright when it was not. I sent to draft as it was largely unsourced. I've restored the content. I've left it in draft as it needs a lot of in-line citations. If you need some help give drop me a message and I can get it back to mainspace once its sourced. Sorry. scope_creepTalk 08:08, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please engage with the discussion @Thegreatrebellion:, you have once again restored reverted edits without coming to discussion.[1] I've pinged you several times and mentioned you in the article's edit history. It's also not appropriate to remove the POV notice without coming to a discussion, you did not "fix" it. FutureFlowsLoveYou (talk) 13:42, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about 2024 Allah word socks controversy

[edit]

Hello Thegreatrebellion, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, 2024 Allah word socks controversy, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2024 Allah word socks controversy.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bastun}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

templates

[edit]

thank you for using my templates {{Hamas history}} and {{Palestinian leaders}}, having both on the same page is probably a bit too much though. FourPi (talk) 14:23, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Thegreatrebellion I like your page you made for Hamas leaders. Can you help make a page that goes with the other template? The current template name probably isn't suitable, I'm open to other suggestions? FourPi (talk) 15:08, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we can create a new page named Palestinian political leaders or List of leaders of Palestinian political parties. But I have to think first before creating it.
For this template, maybe we can named it to Palestinian political leaders. I think that is more suitable.
Cheers mate. Thegreatrebellion (talk) 03:41, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you add a templates to pages, you should also add the page to the template. That seems to be another one of the rules: WP:bidirectional. For the Hamas template, they can go in the "other biographies" section if there is not another list that definitely fits. Some parts of the templates look complicated? but adding pages is just a dot pointed list of wiki links. e.g.
* [[page name]]
