Hello, Theegilamonster, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Copy editing

[edit]

Hi, and thanks for helping out with the Budapest Business School article! I just want to mention that significant copy edits should generally not be marked as minor, and when in doubt, it's best not to mark an edit as minor. For the reasons why, see Wikipedia:Minor edit.

It's not such a big deal in a regular article like that, but just so you know for the future, if you start copy editing contentious topics and overuse the minor button, you might get reprimanded.

Keep calm and keep editing!

Oops! Sorry, good to know for the future! Since I didn’t include much new information, just formatting, I labeled it as “minor,” but I will be more careful in the future Theegilamonster (talk) 22:39, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
