Catching the G-man
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Catching the G-man, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Catching the G-man. Wildthing61476 (talk) 13:52, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Coronation Street infobox
[edit]Am I right in thinking you've created this :)? If so well done, but if you could please could you try and change all of the infoboxes, I don't know how to do it and you obviously do, and also please add in the extra information that I think it will include eg. for Rosie Webster instead of Siblings: Sophie Webster, Jake Webster. You need Sisters: Sophie Webster and Half-Brothers: Jake Webster.

Note
[edit]Please control yourself. Do not SHOUT in articles, even if they are articles about people who have done horrendous evil things.
I would also point out that there is apparently some controversy over whether al-Megrahi actually did it. Wrongful convictions do happen, you know. DS (talk) 19:05, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hiya. On the subject of the infobox I realise you are changing it with the best of intentions, and the character infobox may include dates of birth, but it also takes away a lot more, such as all family links, duration, creator and more. A couple of months ago I tried to create an infobox for Coronation Street, but it was deleted after two weeks. Apparently it had been deleted previous to that as well. How the Hollyoaks one survives I haven't a clue. Maybe because the project has such a dedicated user keeping it going, I don't know. All I do know is that the soap character template is the next best thing for the Corrie project, is it possible that we can please change it back until the time comes that we can recreate the Corrie infobox. Or are you planning on creating it yourself perhaps? Ooh, Fruity (talk) 22:42, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did in the article Gabe Newell. Hoaxes are caught and deleted shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia in an attempt to test our ability to detect and remove such material. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thank you. —Notyourbroom (talk) 13:27, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Grand Theft Auto clones
[edit]Please, stop removing the Grand Theft Auto clone categories from articles, as per wikipedia article of Grand Theft Auto clone. Games that use similar design as the Grand Theft Auto series (such as mission design, in-game hub and music design) is considered a Grand Theft Auto clone. If you have any problems with this then please discuss this on the WikiProject Video games talk page. TheDeviantPro (talk) 10:11, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- Adding the category is a content decision. I've seen them added and removed multiple times over the course of the last week. Please find consensus on the individual articles as to whether the category applies before blanketing multiple articles and its DLC with the category. That consensus should include references within the article that cite the game as a GTA clone. czar ♔ 14:43, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, dalekmaster, don't you know that all games in the same genre are obviously clones of the prototypical game of the genre? I don't know why Wikipedia even has a "first person shooter" category, as all of these should be categorized as "Doom-clones". -VideoGameClone (talk) 16:34, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- Besides, GTA clones refer to a specific class of open-world game, in this case those that share a strong criminal theme. Not all FPSes are the same as COD or Doom anyway. Some involve a degree of realism like a tactical shooter. Same goes with racing games - there's the kart genre, the NFS-esque arcade racer, and there's the simulator. [edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mafia II. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Blake Gripling (talk) 04:14, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Psycho IV: The Beginning, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 18:52, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
