Page deleted

DELETE this page now is deleted. In the future, please don't mess around with moving pages like that; if you need to have a page speedily deleted and you're the only one who's done anything on it, use {{db-g7}}. — Scientizzle 00:20, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Kranlov

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kranlov, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

This should be deleted, rather than translated, as it is pure original research about a 13-year-old, apparently.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Scjessey (talk) 14:00, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

If you agree this should be deleted, you can nominate it for a speedy deletion by adding {{db-author}} to the top of the article. Please do so. -- Scjessey (talk) 14:08, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
You are the author. Here is the diff for when you created the article (making you the author). -- Scjessey (talk) 14:11, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello. Can I just point out that before taking an article to AfD, some effort is required to ensure that an article cannot be fixed, in particular "When nominating an article for deletion due to sourcing concerns, a good-faith attempt should be made to confirm that such sources aren't likely to exist". The recommended actions before listing at AfD can be found at Wikipedia:AFD#Before_nominating_an_AfD. Also, if you could make sure that you use an edit summary, this helps other editors to understand edits and see quickly what has happened in an article's history. Thanks.--Michig (talk) 20:32, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Unblock

{{unblock|Why was i blocked?. I just recreated [[Joshua denton]] by mistake because i was thinking it was a normal edit conflict. I am soory for that. But 1 mistake is not a reason for an forever-block. Otherwise i just creating ski jumping and [[Poschiavo]] articles. I also takes articles too speedy, prod and afd deletion. I hope the block was a mistake//The Rolling Camel}} The Rolling Camel (talk) 15:03, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Disambiguation page needed for Zdravko Zdravkov

One is an old goolkeeper in football, and one is the bulgarian national ski jumping trainer. Disambiguation page is needed but i dont know how to do, so can someone else fix it? The Rolling Camel (talk) 15:53, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

See Talk:Zdravko Zdravkov. The first step is to see if a decent article can, or should, be created regarding Zdravko Zdravkov. If that is appropriate, then a note at the top of the page directing attention to Zdravko Zdravkov (ski jump instructor) might be appropriate together with a change of name of Zdravko Zdravkov to Zdravko Zdravkov (goalkeeper). Proposed deletion of articles relating to Val Poschiavo

A proposed deletion template has been added to the articles La Rasiga, Le Prese, Li Curt, Prada, Poschiavo, Pagnoncini, Cantone, Pedecosta, Sfazù, Levjstrimo, Miralago, Annunziata, Poschiavo, Mureda, Piazzo, Zalende, Campocologno, Campascio, and Motta suggesting that they be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Should be in Val Poschiavo, not enough content for stand-alone pages

All contributions are appreciated, but these articles may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on their talk pages.

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If they continue to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you! —slakrtalk / 22:42, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Am I Online?

No, I'm editing Wikipedia telepathically. I don't even need to turn the computer on to do it. :-P Seriously, is this about your attempt to add to DYK? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 23:47, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Hmm. I haven't touched DYK in a while, i'll check it out later. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 00:00, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Turtle Wax

A tag has been placed on Turtle Wax requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Fiskartorpet

Hey, I know you are you--I would never advocate a fight between author and nominator, haha. But I also found it strange you'd nominate it for deletion. Look, the Swedish article is long enough; bring some of that over and it'll be fine. The park is old, and nice, plenty notable. Drmies (talk) 02:30, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

DYK

Hi Rolling Camel, thanks for contributing to DYK. I am the person who created the DYK suggestion template, so if you are ever having trouble with it you can leave me a message; if I'm not online you can also try Suntag, who has also done a lot of work on it.

By the way, remember to be careful when you edit the DYK page; in this edit, it looks like you were just intending to fix your own nomination, but you also inadvertently removed the one below it (don't worry, the person had re-added his nomination back in, so no harm done). Thanks again, —Politizer talk/contribs 02:33, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Re this edit: please be patient. Now that the hook has been "ticked" it will be moved to Next Update by somebody, but there are nearly 200 hooks on the page and the editors' choice of which hooks to move to Next on a given update often depends on things outside of our control (for example, sometimes a particular update has almost all biographical hooks, so the person will specifically go looking for a hook that's not about a person; or vice versa). Now that the hook has been "ticked" you can be sure that it will go to the main page eventually, but all you can do right now is wait. Thank you, —Politizer talk/contribs 21:36, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Yep, it's ready. The symbol means a DYK editor has reviewed it and found everything in good shape, so now it's just waiting for one of the other editors to move it to the queue. —Politizer talk/contribs 21:40, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: Barnstar!

Thanks, hopefully we can bring it to DYK :) --aktsu (t / c) 06:56, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Yes, hopefully but somebody removed it and i dont know where it is now. The Rolling Camel (talk) 14:57, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Kretsvino

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kretsvino, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unverifiable. No sources and no Google hits.

DYK for Valery Kobelev

Updated DYK query On 21 December, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Valery Kobelev, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
