What?
[edit]Sky?????? What the heck! Are you serious? Say it ain't so. I'm speechless (which is pretty rare). I'm not happy about the above prognosis. How can this be? ChildofMidnight (talk) 20:16, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear about that. Let us know if there's anything we can do, and any of your work here you want us to carry on. - Wikidemon (talk) 20:17, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Wow, I don't know what to say. I just recently met you, and suddenly I see this news. You and your loved ones are in my thoughts. Thanks for all your hard work here. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 20:55, 22 December 2009 (UTC)This is very sorrowful, Mr. Attacker. I hope you survive and never forget your life on Wikipedia, as we will alwaysSchfifty3 21:53, 22 December 2009 (UTC)needremember contributors like you. :-(

[edit]I hate to inform everyone, but either this account was compromised or this is just drama mongering by Sky Attacker. The police went to his home, and they asked if they made the comments, the police told me he and his mother were fine and that they claimed not to have made the edits. Therefore I'm blocking this account. --Coffee // have a cup // ark // 22:54, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I take that to be good news rather than bad. While his account may have been compromised, at least we know he's okay. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 23:02, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- I hate to butt in, but is a "VOA" block even remotely appropriate given the circumstances? Shouldn't he just be blocked for a compromised account? The Thing Merry Christmas 23:04, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Let's see what else he has to say. Either the account was compromised or else he hasn't told the truth. Quibbling over templates isn't useful. If he'd like to return I'll listen, but I really expect him to shoot straight. Durova386 23:07, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- The account got blocked that way because it was a script (I clicked the wrong reason). --Coffee // have a cup // ark // 23:22, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to be Captain Asshole here and say this: Even as I wrote the little sorry-to-hear-it message above, I had a heavy suspicion that we were being trolled bigtime. Who in the hell is going to announce their impending death, even NAMING THE DAY, on Wiki-frikin-pedia??? It was like amber waves of drama just wafting all over the place. I mean, not that I think this is exactly a distinguishing feature of mine, but: I take death seriously, and frankly I do not appreciate having my head screwed with like this--I just didn't want to be the first to say "Hey, guys, this sounds like a big steamy pile" and then actually find out that yeah, he was serious. Then I become That Mean Chick Who Didn't Believe The Kid Who Was Dying. Now, if this is a compromised account--which thought is requiring GALLONS of AGF from me right now--that's one thing; we trout Sky for losing/dropping his pw and move on. But if this DOES turn out to be Sky, IMO, this block should be a de facto ban. We have a criteria for banning called "exhausted the community's patience"; I think we should have one for "tried to tug the community's heartstrings while actually yanking the community's chain." And a few days before Christmas, even!!! Extra That-Wasn't-Nice points for THAT little touch, no matter WHO turns out to be behind it. Even if it was just some troll with Sky's pw, there's some stuff you just don't joke about--not like this, anyway. This whole episode makes me sick. GJC 03:50, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

- (Why such a big indention?) Wasn't that one just a "retirement" that didn't stick though? Big difference between that and purported imminent death. LadyofShalott 19:09, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- That was no accident, it was indentional. OK, in both cases he said "I'm outa here" or something like that. However, you know what it said on the hypochondriac's tombstone, don't you? :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 19:12, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Why did you revert my edits to the Impact secton? Different people think that song is about different things, including what I listed, that's why CBS didn't let him play it. They didn't want people to be offended because of what viewers personally thought it meant.RedBarney (talk) 19:26, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Barney, The Legendary Sky Attacker is currently blocked, so he won't be getting back to you anytime soon. Looking at your edit, it seems all right to me. Since The Legendary Sky Attacker didn't leave an edit summary explaining why he reverted your edit, it's hard to tell why he reverted it. My first guess would be that he may have thought it was vandalism, or that the info you added wasn't adequately sourced to verify the information. If I were to revert it, that's what my reasoning would be anyway (though I wouldn't revert it in the first place). Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 19:41, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
