The Olive Branch: A Dispute Resolution Newsletter (Issue #1)
Welcome to the first edition of The Olive Branch. This will be a place to semi-regularly update editors active in dispute resolution (DR) about some of the most important issues, advances, and challenges in the area. You were delivered this update because you are active in DR, but if you would prefer not to receive any future mailing, just add your name to this page.
In this issue:
- Background: A brief overview of the DR ecosystem.
- Research: The most recent DR data
- Survey results: Highlights from Steven Zhang's April 2012 survey
- Activity analysis: Where DR happened, broken down by the top DR forums
- DR Noticeboard comparison: How the newest DR forum has progressed between May and August
- Discussion update: Checking up on the Wikiquette Assistance close debate
- Proposal: It's time to close the Geopolitical, ethnic, and religious conflicts noticeboard. Agree or disagree?

TFD I don't know if you are a good choice for this question: I have been an occasional editor of WIKI for a couple years. In that time I have noticed a few things that bother me. The big one is that I have noticed there have been "corrections", "revisions", and just plain data removal from some talk pages.
Is this acceptable to WIKI? Even if someone is incorrect, the posting on the TALK page is not incorrect. It was made, shouldn't it remain?Aaaronsmith (talk) 00:30, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Not Vandalism at all

Wrong place?
I'd think you meant for this to go on the talk? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:36, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

question of reliable sources.
If mein Kampf is unreliabe then wouldn't ^ Engels, Frederick, Preface to the 1888 English Edition of the Communist Manifesto, p. 202. Penguin (2002) also be unreliable? But the Communist Manifesto is used over and over again in connection with communism, USSR, and Socialism.24.101.172.61 (talk) 23:29, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

Fałszywka
May I ask you to please widthdraw your AfD nomination as a gesture of good will? I truly believe that you and I can collaborate rather than fight in the future. You are a long-term Wikipedian with relevant experience in building content... just like me. I'm sure you can also appreciate my expansion based on reliable sources. Neither of us needs the grief associated with this conflict. Poeticbent talk 19:19, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you. Much obliged for your assistance. Poeticbent talk 20:12, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
