I've removed your self-nom from the page for now; it's best to complete the questions and write the statement before transcluding, not after. Ironholds (talk) 07:16, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is located at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/ThePointblank. I just wanted you to know where it went. J.delanoygabsadds 07:19, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
After looking at your contributions I'd seriously advise holding off running for at least 3 months. You have less than 3,000 edits, most of them around a year ago, and your edit history since has been patchy in terms of numbers ever since. 230 edits in the last 6 months really isn't enough for people to assess your knowledge of current policy and your recent actions. Ironholds (talk) 07:20, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see you're continuing to set everything up, so I'll reiterate one final time (and then shut up, don't worry); under most peoples admin criterion (indeed, under the standard "you will most likely fail if you have below X" criterion) you do not pass. As such, you are unlikely to succeed in your request for adminship if you go through with it. I would advise waiting at least 3 months, and contributing to Wikipedia in a more active role. [edit]

Hey Zanimum, I remember that you offered to nominate me for adminship a while back while dealing with the Pat Binns edit war (I can't find where you stated it explicitly, but I remember that you did), are you still willing to co-nominate me? Thanks. ThePointblank (talk) 08:12, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation of Articles Progress

[edit]

Hi, I am a contributor to the page "WSR SRC Conference 2008", currently my team and myself are working on improving our page- and being new members to Wiki- learning how to do everything- e.g. uploading files and pictures etc. We are also currently gathering sources and information to provide evidence that the conference did take place, and that the information is accurate.

I would encourage you to visit the following pages, if you would like to find out more about student leadership and our SRC Conference. We have hundreds of photos and resources from our conference- which simply have not been added yet. We seek to improve our page within the next fortnight.

Hi Pointblank...

[edit]

So I saw that you replaced "my" article, USS Nevada (BB-36), on the TFA Requests page... Would it be possible for you to wait for it to go through? It had 12 supports, so it shouldn't/wouldn't be long before it gets scheduled...but it was replaced once already, and I'm running out of time! I'm in college, so I'm going home for Thanksgiving, where I might not have internet access (it depends on my Mom's mood...). Without regular internet access, I may not be able to re-nom it - knowing my luck, Sandy will schedule at the time when I can't go on.... Anyway, I understand if you don't want change it back, as you do have a perfect rationale to replace it...but...

Cheers, —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 05:34, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for agreeing to put USS Nevada (BB-36) back on WP:TFA/R. Words cannot express my gratitude...after the months of work I've put into that article, it will hit the target I was aiming for, Dec. 7th, in no small part to you. Thanks for warning me pointblank,I'll try to be more clear next time I write, and I'll research my findings to prove it.P.S Is it ok if I say that 'Lolita's mother is believed to be ocean sun'(on the Lolita(orca)page? [edit]

So, I need a strong reliable site that can help prove what I have written right?Ok,so what if I write that her mother's subpod or subpod number is L25.Would I need to put the reference such as the orcanetwork.com in a certain place or should I write it in the same sentence like 'Ocean Sun also known as L25 is believed to be Lolita's mother, this information can be found on the orcanetwork.com or just looked up on the web.'Tell me if the sentence is good or if I need to work on it.Also please tell me if I need to put it in a certain place cause, I don't want to mess up again and give something else than the thoroughly researched truth.Thank you for putting up with me I can be so annoying.--Freelolita101 (talk) 19:36, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Freelolita101[reply]

[edit]

I don't think I can get information from newspapers or magazines, and I can explain why.You see the magazines or newspapers concerning this issue are probably dating back to almost fifty or forty years ago,and my computer isn't top rate if you know what I mean.So to find such hard evidence in newspapers and magazines dating back to forty or fifty years would be very hard and difficult.I'll try anyway but If i don't find any evidence in the things that you mensioned then I'll have to use the not so great evidence that I found on my not so great computer.I'll try and get some more resorces like different reliable sites that you can find this certain information on though it might not be top rate I'll probably have more than the orcanetwork.com when I'm through. If you can give me some more advice about this, that would help alot.Again thank you for putting up with my nagging and I'll try to be more thoroughly focused on my resources. Thank you you've been helping me alot lately so Thanks. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freelolita101 (talkcontribs) 21:34, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:00, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
