Speedy Deletion
[edit]Please re-read the criteria for speedy deletion. In particular, Stephen Muecke contained a credible claim of significance and Athlean-X was not unambiguous vandalism. Thanks! VQuakr (talk) 23:55, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
Wrong tagging for speedy deletion
[edit] Hi ThePlanetSteve. Thank you for your work on patrolling pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I just wanted to inform you that I removed the tag on Gromitetoes (Wikipedia User), a page that you tagged for speedy deletion under criterion G1 because of the following concern: the criterion you used does not cover this kind of page or the reason you specified is not a valid reason for speedy deletion. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion and especially what is considered non-criteria. In future you should rather tag such pages for proposed deletion or start an appropriate deletion discussion. The article in question does, however, qualify under DB-A7 and I have tagged it appropriately. elektrikSHOOS 17:08, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- I apologize, I misunderstood the criteria for G1. Thanks for the tips and for correcting. Zunraa (talk) 17:24, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

New Page Patrol survey
[edit]
New page patrol – Survey Invitation Hello Zunraa! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.
Please click HERE to take part. You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey. Global message delivery 14:01, 26 October 2011 (UTC) |
New Page Triage engagement strategy released
[edit]Hey guys!
I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyeswikimedia.org.
It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:04, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi Zunraa,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:30, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
