- Hi @TheCalvinTan, please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a web host. It's great that you're learning about technology and web development, but unfortunately, Wikipedia is not the right place to create an encyclopedia article about a fictional company. I strongly encourage you to blank User:TheCalvinTan/sandbox and add {{db-user}} so that it can be deleted, as it is a bad idea to publicly share so much personally identifiable information. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Politanvm talk 02:55, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:TheCalvinTan/sandbox
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:TheCalvinTan/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Politanvm talk 01:44, 3 September 2022 (UTC)

I also just scrubbed your edit to the sandbox from the history. If you publish such personal details again I am just going to have to block you--for your own protection. This is a publicly accessible website; that information should never be published on any publicly accessible website. Drmies (talk) 03:42, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hi TheCalvinTan, I'm Rsjaffe. You'll likely not be pleased about this but I have removed some of your edits because they reveal too much personally identifiable information about you. We have a policy of protecting editors' safety by hiding such information if they share it. I'm really sorry about having to suppress your edits, and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add the information. For some useful information on privacy and safety, you can take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors and Wikipedia:On privacy, confidentiality and discretion. - Okay, thanks okay! Thank you.
- I just figured using Wikipedia was more of a creative way of expressing my understanding for a project rather than just a regular Google Document. Didn't intend to use it for public or promotional purposes. Thank you anyway! TheCalvinTan (talk) 03:58, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Is it possible to save it as a draft and not make it public by any chance? TheCalvinTan (talk) 03:59, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Calvin, unfortunately, it isn't possible. Nearly everything on Wikipedia is public. There are products for creating personal, private wikis, but Google Docs is probably a good choice for creating a private document for your project. Politanvm talk 04:09, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
- Right, I'm sorry! Because it was named Sandbox I figured that it was just for experimental purposes only and that it was just for fun or somethin, didn't realize it was for writing new Wikis. TheCalvinTan (talk) 04:16, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

Hello, TheCalvinTan, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as CalvinEDU (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Jay 💬 09:30, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
- You are blocked indefinitely, not just because you had two accounts against policy, but especially because you do not appear competent to edit Wikipedia. We are an encyclopedia; it says so on the main page. You treated our website like a webhost, and then with a second account you made a promotional article for a middle school. The request you made at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion was unnecessary as well--you should have asked either the nominator or the deleting administrator first. You are just creating more work for volunteers. Drmies (talk) 15:05, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
