Disambiguation link notification for August 18
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Go Vacation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NPC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:10, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

List of Nintendo Switch games
A guide that list shops for games would not work as a source of Wikipedia. This is not a buyer's guide. Please talk with the admins on that. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 01:05, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- I think you misunderstand that rule. Wikipedia itself is not a buyers guide but we can use buyers guides themselves as a source.TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 02:48, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Er, well we can use it if its reliable of course, which in this case it is. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 02:55, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Also, you understand that there is a 'Show preview' button next to 'Save changes' button, right? They're both at the bottom of the editing page. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 16:23, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- And I believe there has been talk about leaving one source for a non-linked game to avoid page size limitations. Can I ask you to take part in the talk page about this? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 16:45, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- I cant use the show preview button because with the page being so big and all, its become so laggy that my computer cant handle the button press. And also, I haven't seen that discussion regarding only one source, could you link me to it? TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:47, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- Found the discussion, seems like right after you posted this it was decided that multiple sources are, in fact needed for some games if one source doesn't have all the info, such as in the case of Gal Metal. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:49, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- Wait im looking at the dates and this doesnt line up... they told you that we need to keep more than one source in cases like Gal Metal... and then 10 minutes later you post this saying that we can only have one source? What? TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:51, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- WAIT, NEVERMIND. You did in fact post this before, ignore me then, whoops! TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:52, 16 October 2018 (UTC)

And do we really need all the archived information on the page? That probably covers why the edit side keeps lagging and being super slow. Also pretty annoying considering the fact. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 03:58, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, archives are a must seeing as pretty much every single link eventually dies. Citations are useless if you cant access the website. And while the majority of the sources with archives arent dead, links die so quickly that its just better to be safe than sorry. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 04:30, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
Felicia josephinae
Thank you for your recent edits on the new article Felicia josephinae. There were indeed some typos. However, I am not convinced some of the other edits are doing a great job "to make the text more accessible to laymen". The one that triggered me is the insertion of an explanation of annual plant. Annual, biennial and perennial are rather basic concepts in botany, and I included a link to the article Annual plant. Explaining every concept in this text - and there are many - won't work, because it will render the article unreadable. Secondly the link you've added on Palea is not very helpful as it talks about the palea in the spikelet of grasses. Regrettably, some botanical terms are used for more than one concept as in this case. The "(or palea)" was intended to specify what type of bract we are talking about here. If you want to link, better to do it to Asteraceae#Floral_structures. I hope this is helpful to you. Kind regards, Dwergenpaartje (talk) 09:19, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- Heres my perspective on this. I am no expert in botany whatsoever, so I looked towards the page on Helianthus for examples for improving it. Most of the page was pretty good actualy and I certainly was not planning on adding a definition on every single little botanical term. The only thing that really needed a explanation was Annual and biennial. Annual is indeed a very simple and common term, but as a non-botanist reading it next to herbaceous plant made it extremely confusing for me. I couldn't tell if it was a plant that was annual... and whatever herbaceous means, or one long term called a annual herbaceous plant. Again, looking towards the Helianthus page, it seems to give a definition of some of the more confusing words too, such as "capitula". I truly think it would be a mistake to remove the small definition as it would make the page for someone like me, who has next-to-zero knowledge in botany next-to-impossible to read. Kind regards, TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:38, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- In any case, i've reverted the page to the last revision without definitions so that consensus can be possibly reached.TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:45, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, that is very helpfull. I don’t intend to go to war though. If a single word or brief expression is available that would be better understood, that is what I use, often giving the botanical term in brackets, or with a link to the relevant Wikipedia page. So for capitula, I use “flower head”. Herbaceous just means “not woody”. As for “annual”, I think that inserting a full definition as you initially did is too wordy and so disrupts the flow. But adding a very brief explanation in brackets may work. Perhaps: “(germinating, flowering and setting seed just one time, before dying, all within one year)” does not disrupt the flow. Still, there must be at least 50,000 annual plant species and a quarter million herbaceous plant species. What do you think? Cheers, Dwergenpaartje (talk) 08:06, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
- Sounds good! TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 21:58, 25 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. - I realise im responding to a bot here; but can someone explain what happened here? When I was using the upload wizard it had me fill out this info and I did... but its not there? It was pretty late at night so maybe im misremembering and I added the info now... but it's still weird lol! TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 19:00, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
A little quick there with the close I suggest. There ARE problems, and they need to be addressed, or this will be an ongoing problem. (You are certainly not the first and won't be the last to feel the same way you initially did.) I have just explained what they are. How about leaving it open for a a bit longer? HiLo48 (talk) 18:47, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- Probably a good idea... I couldn't even figure out how to nominate it properly though... could you get rid of some of the leftover closure stuff? I can't figure out how without breaking something lol... TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 18:48, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- Edit: nvm got it. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 18:49, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Eric Clapton's Happy Xmas album
I honestly cannot see why you removed all of the material I added to the page for Eric Clapton's latest album. The source for all of it is Eric Clapton himself, in a filmed interview with producer Simon Climie which is contained on an USB drive - included within the album's deluxe edition, which I own. If you wish, I can upload the entire mp4 video file containing the whole interview, so that you can download it, and, upon watching it, you may easily realize that nearly everything I added on the page is stated in the interview by either Clapton or Climie. What source could be more reliable than the artist himself? Ugo1970 (talk) 00:53, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- You did not mark that as a source for every paragraph, only a few. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 00:50, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Oh and I'm not even sure how one would source that, I'd look around in the templates. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 00:51, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- I did not specify the source for every paragraph because ALL of them are either transcriptions or faithful paraphrases of what Clapton and Climie say in the interview. About sourcing it, as I wrote above, I can upload the entire file on a sharing website, so that everyone may download it and watch it for themselves (it's quite a big file, though - almost 3 GB).Ugo1970 (talk) 01:06, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Writing credits are taken from the album booklet. Wouldn't it be reliable as well? Ugo1970 (talk) 01:08, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- You need to cite your sources... if you don't how will anyone know where this info is coming from? TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 01:10, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Well, I did cite my source - once. I assumed it was valid for everything that followed. Did I really need to write out the same citation 13 more times? ;-) Ugo1970 (talk) 01:13, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yes. Every paragraph at minimum as long as that source covers it I believe. TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 01:48, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Hey, @Ugo1970 I don't think think that the way you cited the source works... your source just says its an interview but not where and how... a URL or a ISBN would be great! TheAwesomeHwyh (talk) 17:58, 6 December 2018 (UTC)

DYK hook promotions
Yes, you did great! It was the right time in the rotation to place a nature image. Just remember to alternate bios and non-bios, and copy the whole credit line (see here). Best, Yoninah (talk) 19:36, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Yay! It's actually quite fun to do! TheAwesomeHwyh 19:37, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- It's pretty amazing how you just whipped up a set in no time. Have you ever done this before? I just want to note that we try to mix up hook subjects. In Prep 2, you had 2 sports hooks and 2 medical hooks, so I moved one of each to the next prep set. We have a huge selection on the approved page, but we do try to promote the oldest ones first whenever possible. Keep up the great work! Yoninah (talk) 22:17, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Nope, this is the first time. I don't think I had even read the page on how to do this untill today, actualy! I'm planning on (hopefuly) finishing another set before the day ends. I'll try to mix them up more, too. I had found the page because I had nominated The Haunted Island for DYK and wanted to learn more! TheAwesomeHwyh 22:20, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Great! Listen, I just got a note on my talk page about your promotion of the sea anemone image. The reviewer specifically said it wasn't a good image at thumbnail size, and since she's our nature expert, I would have honored her opinion. Now I notice that you promoted the Buddha statue to an image slot. That image is indistinguishable at thumbnail size, and doesn't belong in an image slot. We try to put the best images and the best hooks in the image slot. Yoninah (talk) 22:24, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree on the sea anemone one. I'm going to make a crop of the Buddha one and replace it with that. Give me a moment... TheAwesomeHwyh 22:27, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Nevermind- the image resolution was too small to make a crop look good. I'm going to find a diffrent hook, instead. TheAwesomeHwyh 22:29, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I should also mention that if you don't think a hook is hooky, don't promote it. Instead, ask the nominator to come up with a different hook. You may tweak a hook, but all-out rewriting necessitates some back and forth on the nomination template. Many of our reviewers are new editors who are just trying to do a WP:QPQ so their own articles will pass and, as a result, many of the reviews are shoddy. You must check all the DYK criteria before promoting something. As you do this, you will see who are our "regulars" and who write the best hooks. Since this section has prominence on the main page, we really do have a reputation to keep up. You might also watchlist WP:ERRORS and WP:TRM to see notes from other editors who find problems with the promoted hooks. Feel free to ask me any other questions on my talk page. Best, Yoninah (talk) 22:33, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks I'll keep all that in mind, also how does the new hook and image look? TheAwesomeHwyh 22:34, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Pretty dark. I wouldn't have promoted that one either :). BTW, Template:Did you know nominations/Bandos (horse) did not have a final approval tick. As you can see, I didn't like the hooks and suggested another one. I'm still waiting for their answer. (Things go slowly around here, BTW). Yoninah (talk) 22:35, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Whoops, my bad- I knew better lol. Do you think it could be better if I did some minor color grading? TheAwesomeHwyh 22:36, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- It's wonderful if you have photo skills too. Go for it! (Once the preps move into the queue, our local expert, David Levy, adjusts the images as well.) Yoninah (talk) 22:41, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Alright, here is the photo. I basicly just increased the brightness, and shifted all the colors to be a bit warmer. TheAwesomeHwyh 22:51, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Personally, I think it's boring. And the hook reads like a newspaper article.
- I just shifted some things around and moved that great toilet seat hook into the image slot. It would be a quirky if it didn't have an image, but the image is great, and image hooks always get the most clicks. I estimate it'll get more than 10,000! Yoninah (talk) 22:57, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. TheAwesomeHwyh 22:58, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- The Buddha template was closed but the hook is not in any prep set. Could you put it somewhere, maybe move it later when another set opens up? It really is a good quirky. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 23:02, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- I moved it to prep 1. TheAwesomeHwyh 23:04, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

- I think I might have sounded too harsh about the Colonial picture. I think you did a great job on the photoshopping, and it will really enhance the article. But I just feel it's kind of a run of the mill image and hook. Yoninah (talk) 23:07, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Nah, you were fine. Also, I moved the Buddah hook to prep 2. TheAwesomeHwyh 23:08, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

- The Buddha template was closed but the hook is not in any prep set. Could you put it somewhere, maybe move it later when another set opens up? It really is a good quirky. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 23:02, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. TheAwesomeHwyh 22:58, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Alright, here is the photo. I basicly just increased the brightness, and shifted all the colors to be a bit warmer. TheAwesomeHwyh 22:51, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- It's wonderful if you have photo skills too. Go for it! (Once the preps move into the queue, our local expert, David Levy, adjusts the images as well.) Yoninah (talk) 22:41, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Whoops, my bad- I knew better lol. Do you think it could be better if I did some minor color grading? TheAwesomeHwyh 22:36, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks I'll keep all that in mind, also how does the new hook and image look? TheAwesomeHwyh 22:34, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Nevermind- the image resolution was too small to make a crop look good. I'm going to find a diffrent hook, instead. TheAwesomeHwyh 22:29, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree on the sea anemone one. I'm going to make a crop of the Buddha one and replace it with that. Give me a moment... TheAwesomeHwyh 22:27, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
Please close this template since you promoted it to Prep 2. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 23:37, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Prep building
Hi again. I see you're still having fun promoting preps. I wonder if I could ask a favor? Instead of promoting hooks all over the place, leaving empty slots in the prep sets for other editors to fill in, could you build one prep set at a time? That's what other prep builders do. That way, you can choose your image and alternate your bios/non-bios and U.S./non-U.S. hooks as you please. It would also give other editors the opportunity to choose their own image for their prep set. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 12:40, 11 August 2019 (UTC)

DYK for The Haunted Island
On 26 August 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Haunted Island, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that critics called the comedy adventure video game The Haunted Island "suitably goofy" and "pretty gosh darn rad"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Haunted Island. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, The Haunted Island), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

New page reviewer granted
Hi TheAwesomeHwyh. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encylopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. Barkeep49 (talk) 12:55, 13 September 2019 (UTC)

proposed deletion of List of bakemono featured in Bakemono no e

New Page Review newsletter November 2019
Hello TheAwesomeHwyh,
This newsletter comes a little earlier than usual because the backlog is rising again and the holidays are coming very soon.
- Getting the queue to 0
There are now 803 holders of the New Page Reviewer flag! Most of you requested the user right to be able to do something about the huge backlog but it's still roughly less than 10% doing 90% of the work. Now it's time for action.
Exactly one year ago there were 'only' 3,650 unreviewed articles, now we will soon be approaching 7,000 despite the growing number of requests for the NPR user right. If each reviewer soon does only 2 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by every reviewer doing only 1 review every 2 days - that's only a few minutes work on the bus on the way to the office or to class! Let's get this over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.
Want to join? Consider adding the NPP Pledge userbox.
Our next newsletter will announce the winners of some really cool awards.
- Coordinator
Admin Barkeep49 has been officially invested as NPP/NPR coordinator by a unanimous consensus of the community. This is a complex role and he will need all the help he can get from other experienced reviewers.
- This month's refresher course
Paid editing is still causing headaches for even our most experienced reviewers: This official Wikipedia article will be an eye-opener to anyone who joined Wikipedia or obtained the NPR right since 2015. See The Hallmarks to know exactly what to look for and take time to examine all the sources.
- Tools
- It is now possible to select new pages by date range. This was requested by reviewers who want to patrol from the middle of the list.
- It is now also possible for accredited reviewers to put any article back into the New Pages Feed for re-review. The link is under 'Tools' in the side bar.
- Reviewer Feedback
Would you like feedback on your reviews? Are you an experienced reviewer who can give feedback to other reviewers? If so there are two new feedback pilot programs. New Reviewer mentorship will match newer reviewers with an experienced reviewer with a new reviewer. The other program will be an occasional peer review cohort for moderate or experienced reviewers to give feedback to each other. The first cohort will launch November 13.
- Second set of eyes
- Not only are New Page Reviewers the guardians of quality of new articles, they are also in a position to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged for deletion and maintenance and that new authors are not being bitten. This is an important feature of your work, especially while some routine tagging for deletion can still be carried out by non NPR holders and inexperienced users. Read about it at the Monitoring the system section in the tutorial. If you come across such editors doing good work, don't hesitate to encourage them to apply for NPR.
- Do be sure to have our talk page on your watchlist. There are often items that require reviewers' special attention, such as to watch out for pages by known socks or disruptive editors, technical issues and new developments, and of course to provide advice for other reviewers.
- Arbitration Committee
The annual ArbCom election will be coming up soon. All eligible users will be invited to vote. While not directly concerned with NPR, Arbcom cases often lead back to notability and deletion issues and/or actions by holders of advanced user rights.
- Community Wish list
There is to be no wish list for WMF encyclopedias this year. We thank Community Tech for their hard work addressing our long list of requirements which somewhat overwhelmed them last year, and we look forward to a successful completion.

Rejection of my submission
Dear Hwyh, I don't understand the decision that my contribution is advertising. If I see it correctly, I have made three insertions. One is a factual description of a new technology in the field of Airborne Wind Energy.
My quote: Crosswind Technology
“With X-Wind technology, automatically controlled kites pull current-producing ground vehicles on an oval track.”
What is the difference to:
Carousel generator The “Carousel” configuration several kites fly at a constant height and higher altitudes, pulling in rotation a generator that moves on a wide circular rail. For a large Carousel system, the power obtained can be calculated as of the order of GW, exposing a law that see the power attainable as a function of the diameter raised to the fifth power, while the increment of cost of the generator is linear.
The second change was the insertion of a literature source of a scientific book, edited by 3 renowned scientists of the article with over 60 authors of the industry and appeared in one of the most serious science publishers worldwide.
The third insertion was the web address of a company working in the field of the article. This insertion has only completed the list of all other existing actors.
I cannot see to what extent these contributions should have been advertising. I ask for a factual explanation of the decision instead of a blanket rejection.
Thank you in advance Uwe AhrensUwe Ahrens (talk) 16:34, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

Undo my edit on Afoxolaner
Hi there. I've just spent the whole evening researching on the medicine my vet prescribed for my dog, NexGard, reading complicated documents on the European Medecines Agency and scientific publications about insecticide selectivity. I've gather quite some useful information about the toxicity of this product on mammals and you just undo everything because you think I am financed by the company that manufactured it... May I ask how did you come to this crazy conclusion? I've updated the wikipedia ESPECIALLY to put the adverse effects and marketing informations! — Preceding unsigned comment added by MélodieCASH (talk • contribs) 01:54, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Your edit contained copyright symbols. That's how I came to that conclusion. We are VERY careful with our articles on medicine here on Wikipedia. Better safe than sorry. Also, talk page comments go on the bottom of the page. I'd be more than happy to help you understand how follow Wikipedia's rules, though. Just reply to me on this page. You don't have to worry about formatting it properly yet, I'll do that for you. TheAwesomeHwyh 02:03, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- I used copyright symbols because I've seen them in some documents I've read.. I don't see how can this can be a clue of being financed by the company. Didn't you read the content of the page? It is very well referenced with official documents and neutral af. Question: what do I do with you very long advertissment on my talk page? It gives a very bad impression.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MélodieCASH (talk • contribs) 02:08, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Copyright symbols are usually used in a lot of promotional text and HEAVILY suggest WP:COI editing. I don't understand the last part of your comment. TheAwesomeHwyh 02:12, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, what do I do now? I've been working hard for getting official information about adverse effects and how easy it was to put the veterinary products on the market but you just undo everything because you suspect something I can't prove AND I have a comment of you on my "talk" page that is totally illegitimate and treats me like somebody who want to promote and sell insecticides . — Preceding unsigned comment added by MélodieCASH (talk • contribs) 02:17, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

I didn't revert you because I suspected you of something, it was because your text seemed like an advertisement. Please sign your comments by adding "~~~~" to the end of them. You might get better responses if you ask at WP:TEAHOUSE. Its a place where users can ask other users for help. There's usually someone there. Also, please don't let this experience stop you from editing Wikipedia! Personally, I would get some help from the people at the Teahouse, and maybe consult the folks at WP:WikiProject Medicine. The reason I'm asking you to go to those places is because I'm not experienced in medicine and couldn't tell you much about editing articles on it. By the way, I don't think that you where trying to advertise now, just that you didn't know how to write a Wikipedia article- which is understandable, our rules are complex and sometimes seem contradictory, but I'm sure the people at the Teahouse can help you understand them better. I'm sorry that I personally couldn't help you any further, I just don't have the time nor experience to help you write in the areas you want to write in. - Woah! You figured out the use of the "hidden ping" template very quickly! I'll remove my comments on your talkpage, but do you want me to remove your reply to me over there, too? Also, since I'm not familiar with medicine (I actually spend most of my time on Wikipedia undoing vandalism and promotional edits, and also writing about video games) I'm not entirely comfortable with undoing my edit on Afoxolaner but I wouldn't object if anyone else did, sans the copyright symbols. TheAwesomeHwyh 02:50, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- (the hidden ping and indented paragraphs were just copy-pasting) I don't mind you deleting nor leaving this conversation here. At least here I had a chance to explain why I think it's illegitimate (even though I should have reply on my talk page.. Oh well I'll know it for the next time). Please undo your changes on Afoxolaner, this would make so much sense after you realized that was not a promotional thing. If I undo your changes, it will just look like I ignored your remark and force my pseudo-promotional editting from the perspective of someone who read the history of Afoxolaner.. I don't want to mess up my reputation when not even built.. Otherwise thank you for moderating wikipediaMélodieCASH (talk) 03:02, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

- Copyright symbols are usually used in a lot of promotional text and HEAVILY suggest WP:COI editing. I don't understand the last part of your comment. TheAwesomeHwyh 02:12, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
I'm sorry but I can't- I know nothing of medicine and thus cannot judge the appropriateness of your edit even without the copyright symbols. WP:WikiProject Medicine may be more help. Don't worry about your reputation: no one really looks at your edit history. I also didn't mean this conversation on this page, I meant the one on your talk page. - Ok, then I will do it. Yes please delete all or publish a something that shows it was a mistake. Good night (or day).MélodieCASH (talk) 03:18, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
regarding a revert
Hello, I made edits to the Finneytown high school wiki, and you reverted it, so I want to tell you a few things why it didn´t have sources.
The first reason was I was looking for some sources to add. I was looking through the internet for some sources, I found some that I was gonna add.
The second reason, there wasn't any sources about a topic on it. So I didn´t have any sources for the house thing, but I do go to that school and have experience with the house system. If there was anything else you reverted it for, please tell me, thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elflanded (talk • contribs) 04:23, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Elflanded. I realize its probably frustrating to have you work reverted. However, everything on Wikipedia needs to be sourced. Please don't add information without providing a reliable source. TheAwesomeHwyh 07:04, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Elflanded: I forgot to ping you, sorry. TheAwesomeHwyh 07:13, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
The new Russian tank gun
You need to go to the T-14 Armata tank and look at the sub-section on "Armament".
There is a big write-up on this new gun, and mention of development coming on a 152mm future gun.
I got this info from the Armata WIKI page, to which I put a direct link when I added it to the page you monitor. The info is rather detailed (as far as it goes), and the author of the Armata section gives plenty of references.
That being said, the Russians are quite secretive, so I suspect that it might be difficult to develop a complete Info Box write-up, since the Russians are only now beginning to field this new tank, and have never exported one of them. In short, the 'fine' details may be a bit sketchy for the next few years.
Still, the gun exists, and should perhaps be listed as a "Variant" under the page you monitor. I would suggest that you cut-and-paste the entire paragraph, with References intact, and create a "Variant" sub-section on your page for the original gun.
All the best,

- Hello, James. There were a few problems with your edit; Wikipedia is not a reliable source, and thus cannot be cited in a Wikipedia article. And even if it were, you didn't cite it inline, which you have to do. Simply stating your source in an edit summary is not sufficient. TheAwesomeHwyh 07:10, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
