- ==Three-Revert rule==
- Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Stifle (talk) 22:05, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Peer review for Actuary article
[edit]Hi there. Now that Actuary has been considered one of Wikipedia's good articles, I would like to see it develop or improve, if and as necessary, to become a candidate for featured article status. Therefore, and advice, suggestions, or statements that you think it is ready for featured article candidacy would be appreciated on the peer review page here: Wikipedia:Peer review/Actuary/archive1. Thank you. -- Avi 19:55, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Looking for name suggestions for an article on life table methods
[edit]I have content on a non-life table use of life table methods (actually on a method to calculate birth control failure rates) that I would like to put in an article somewhere. I initially added this to the life table article, however I was corrected and learned that life table methods are not the same things as life tables. The other editors on the life table page, however, were unable to help me find an appropriate article (or article title) in which to place my information.
I'm posting on your page because you are listed as an actuary. Article titles that have been suggested so far are life table methods, life contingencies, and decrement table. My knowledge of these methods and their use is too sketchy to make an appropriate decision on article title, so I'm hoping you can give me some insight. Lyrl Talk Contribs 01:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
