Hi. I apologise, the sources I used may have been unreliable, and in all honesty, the article did end up being rather rushed. Thanks for the informative feedback! The2gingerman (talk) 20:56, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Upon firther thought, there is likely a conflict of interest. I will not attmept to resubmit the article, please feel free to delete it. The2gingerman (talk) 20:59, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, The2gingerman! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Theroadislong (talk) 20:42, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: When drafts are being reviewed, Declined means there may be hope, Rejected means the reviewer saw no potential to succeed given the content and references, and Speedy deleted means that the draft ran afoul of one or more of Wikipedias hardcore rules. The first two leave a history of edits that can be viewed/recovered via View history. The last deletes all edits from view except to Administrators. Under some circumstances, the Admin who activated the Speedy can return content. David notMD (talk) 03:39, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse

[edit]

The responses at Teahouse can be seen as coming across harsh. Please understand that there are regulars at Teahouse - Hosts - who's patience can get threadbare when the same optimistic but naive newly hatched editors throw themselves into creating articles without an understanding of the rules and requirements. The advice to gain experience improving existing articles for a while before essaying to start a draft is well meant. David notMD (talk) 16:38, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Theroadislong (talk) 16:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the late welcome. In all honesty, whilst I would love to edit wikipedia, I'm not very good at finding sources, and I feel like I have more important priorities than Wikipedia right now. I'm just monitoring to see if Wikipedia was good for my mental health, if so then I am likely to return. If I notice that leaving WP has helped me heal, I am likely to retire, however. TL,DR: Whilst I'd love to help WP, my mental health comes first. Wish you well! The2gingerman (talk) 16:20, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
