Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Personal defense weapon to Assault rifle (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:50, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]I have a question for you about this edit. What is the word "this" referring to in the content you added to the section? When you say "used in this cartridge", which cartridge are you referring to? Because I do not see a certain cartridge referenced in the beginning of the paragraph. Are you referring to a cartridge referenced in the image of the article? Also is discussing a cartridges merits with its ability to feed apply in this section? I am not trying to be rude by asking these questions, I am just trying to make wikipedia a better place. And thank you for joining wikipedia! Viewratio (talk) 17:55, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
I left my response on your talk page. I haven’t really used the talk page much, so I didn’t know right away. That Guy From That Place (talk) 03:58, 24 June 2019 (UTC)

[edit]The article 12.7x55mm has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Lack of Notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Vitaium (talk) 14:29, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of 12.7x55mm
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that 12.7x55mm, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
- It covers a topic on which we already have an article - 12.7×55mm STs-130. (See section A10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 12.7×55mm STs-130, or to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
