Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]You have received these suggestions because we are currently running a study to see if SuggestBot is helpful for newly registered Wikipedia editors. Normally SuggestBot only makes suggestions for users who ask for them explicitly on the SuggestBot request page. We will not post suggestions on your talk page again unless you ask for them. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find a complete consent form with contact information on the SuggestBot Study page.
SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

Sockpuppet ?
[edit]Can I please draw your attention to WP:SOCK.
If this doesn't apply to you, and this is all just an unusual coincidence, then please accept my very sincere apologies and good luck with your continued editing. However you're a new account, having chosen a username that's very similar to an account that was recently blocked: User talk:ThatRockMetalGuy#ANI.
If this is you, then my advice is to stop using this account immediately. This behaviour is know as "sockpuppeting" and it's seriously frowned upon, particularly from blocked editors. If this was done by accident, being unfamiliar with the policy against it, then please stop, apologise briefly, and I hope that admins will overlook this as a genuine mistake. If you want to regain access to full editing, your best route is to use the User talk:ThatRockMetalGuy account, having first understood what the problems were, agreed to not cause that problem again, then submitted an unblock request. "Indefinite" doesn't mean forever, it just means until the problem is resolved. No-one wants to lose you as an editor, but we can't just afford copyright problems.
There are two things that Wikipedia takes hugely seriously: copyright and sockpuppeting. Trying to work around one by using the other just isn't going to be looked upon at all well! Andy Dingley (talk) 16:03, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- It obviously is a sock, and I have reported it as such. Nymf hideliho! 13:57, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
