Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Unlinking
[edit]I see that you've started unlinking all occurrences of Welfare Party of India in articles, citing notability concerns. If you think the party isn't notable, you can nominate it for deletion at WP:AFD and carry on with the unlinking only if it does get deleted. Thanks, – Uanfala (talk) 15:48, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
- It is not proper to unlike occurrences of Welfare Party of India. Even if the article gets deleted, which I doubt, it will still be a redirect to something.
- I think there are enough sources in the article already to meet notability. Further sources will show up if we do a search. I don't see an AfD succeeding. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 16:31, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Slow down please
[edit]Hi again. You enthusiasm for curating content is commendable, but I see that you've tagged for translation into English an article that is already in English [1], added an "unreferenced" tag to an article that does have references [2] and flagged up as "advert" a perfectly neutrally worded article [3] (and even if you felt it was not neutrally worded, the article is only three sentences long so you wouldn't have been to inconvenienced to copyedit it). I think you need to slow down. – Uanfala (talk) 16:13, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Aboobackeramani. Thank you. – Uanfala (talk) 16:44, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of Aboobackeramani (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · logs · block log · arb · rfc · lta · SPI · cuwiki) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below.
