Five Pillars of Wikipedia
Float around for awhile until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. There are also many great committees and groups that focus on particular jobs. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English and Wikipedia:Cleanup for sloppy articles. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy.
There are a few crucial points to keep in mind when editing. Be civil with users, strive to maintain a neutral point of view, verify your information, and show good etiquette like signing your comments with four tildas like this: ~~~~ If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page or ask the true experts at Wikipedia:Help desk. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 23:10, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

The Exodus
[edit]I have added a note on Talk:The Exodus, concerning the duration of the Exodus.
I am reproducing that note in this page (below), because I am afraid you may have missed it, and I would like to hear from you. --HYC 08:30, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
I'd have to say, you are right. Thanks for correcting this oversight. I retract my assertion, that Ex. 16:35 is a backwards looking statement. I now
notice that it is in the context of manna recently been introduced, and thus, it is a forward looking statement, not a backward looking statement. Well done.

Hi

Maybe we need to take it up with this RIC. It seems four administrator are substantially excluding a significant minority view by treating it as a tiny minority. I wonder if it has ever come up, whether the Wikipedia rules explicitly apply to main subject pages, or if one POV can be the main article, relegating minority views to significiant articles to four sentences and a hyperlink. The rules to me seem like they should apply to the article level, but that is not what is happening. You know, that suggestion about finding another poll - perhaps if a new poll with more neutral wording could be funded somehow ... --ThaThinker 08:34, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]I just wanted to shake your hand. It's nice to know there are people out there who are bold enough to not blindly follow the government. Don't give an Ameriflag 05:18, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
