Wikipedia and copyright

Hello TexasEx2401! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Aviva Klompas, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. I am a former colleague of Aviva's who is helping create her Wikipedia page. I have no personal interest in the page aside from knowing Aviva, which is why I used the pronoun "we" because I am in contact with her and able to reach out to her if needed. Let me be clear that I do not expect financial compensation from making this page. I apologize for not using the citations correctly and plagiarizing material. I had taken copy from her biography to use for this page, but I realize now that this action goes against your rules, so I am working on rewriting her biography to comply with your rules. Any copy cited from other websites will be quoted and cited from this point forward. Regarding the images used, they are all free for public use. Lastly, I did not copy from other Wikipedia pages -- I only linked them when it seemed necessary. Please let me know if you have any further questions and/or concerns. To help you, please read WP:REFB and WP:CITE. They will be of major use as you read my next paragraph.

For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the person is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.

Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest.
