Proposed deletion of Workshifting

The article Workshifting has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unreferenced neologism. Scarcely even worthy of a redirect

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. How can I vet my article after deletion?

I've been having trouble figuring out how to add to/edit my article in the proper way so it wouldn't be deleted and now the page has been. I put in an updated version with additional references in a subpage under my username as suggested by the site, but I'm wary/confused as to how to continue to proceed to have my article resubmitted for approval since I can prove that it is not an unreferenced neologism. Hello! Putting it in userspace is a good idea (although in future it might be better to have a "sandbox" like User:Bob Castle/sandbox for making all off-wiki edits). Looking at your page, firstly I would recommend looking into how Wikipedia formats articles, which is outlined here. If all that's a bit too much to read through (it's a bit massive, to be honest), it would be worth looking into the way that established articles are formatted, such as the one on Telecommuting linked from your page. You'll notice that the references are not simply linked at the bottom but in the form of inline references. An outline of this is at Wikipedia:Citing sources. Hope that's some help. Having said all that, I wonder whether the decision to delete may have been sensible. What I would recommend is perhaps trimming your article and then adding it as a paragraph to another relevant existing article, for example Location independence.Bob talk 18:15, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

I think it probably does fail the requirements for an article, as a neologism / dictionary definition, which lacks "signoficant coverage" in its own right (WP:GNG). It also looks like there is possibly a [[WP:COATRACK|hidden agenda, to promote the blog in the last para. I think the best answer is to add it to an existing article, with appropriate reliable sources - note, blogs are not reliable sources.
