Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Panic! at the Disco band members, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Keyboard, Production and Spencer Smith. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Discogs as an RS

Hey there. We recently went back and forth on edits about Panic! at the Disco and the roles of its members. Before anything else happens, I just want to show that Discogs is not an RS. As shown at WPRS#Discogs, a discussion in 2009, they cite it as a "community-built database" and how there is "no indication/explanation of editorial oversight". Also, Discogs has Panic!s recent single, Hallelujah, and how Discogs says that Dan Pawlovich, Kenneth Harris, and Weekes played on the song, when it is confirmed that Urie played on the whole 2016 album. You can see that here, http://www.discogs.com/Panic-At-The-Disco-Hallelujah/release/7413154 . As much as Urie has played bass, he did not play bass on TWTLTRTD. But, if you can find a reliable source and prove me wrong, please feel free to do so. 00:34, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Heytherehowsitgoin (talk)

Hi, there! I did see that but it is from 2009 leading me to also create a new discussion. But the thing is, even if Urie did not play on TWTLTRTD, he still played bass live when Dallon would either play guitar or baritone guitar, so he recently has consistently played bass for the band. Although i'm also having a hard time finding sources now that gives any credits, which is puzzling. I appreciate you coming to me to discuss this as well as a lot of times, fellow users can be difficult and unwilling to cooperate and discuss things. So, i'll leave bass of the album until I find a source but for now I saw we leave it as bass since 2004 because of live shows. Thanks and have a great evening, Heytherehowsitgoin (talk)! Timeline editing.

Let's please not start edit warring. You don't need to repeatedly revert to YOUR version because YOU think it's better when others make changes. That's not the way wikipedia works. I appreciate your crusade to improve things, but please note that when you repeatedly ignore warnings, that's when there becomes problems. — DLManiac (talk) 03:24, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi there DLManiac (talk), the issue is that people are making timelines much larger then needed and completly going against the common look for them such as making touring member parts as the whole line and not just part and multiple other issues. I am reverting the edits and starting disccusions on each of their talk pages.Teddy2Gloves(talk)(contribs) 03:32, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

I did that in neither of my edits you reverted on Green Day and PATD. Yes I agree that PATD is large, but it is necessary due to the several overlain bars on each member. You can't read the timeline with only one pixel per color. — DLManiac (talk) 03:36, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
I think Panic!'s is fine, only Weekes' bar is slightly overcrowded but can still be made out. The changes to Green Day's are unnessary. I plan on making a "List of Green Day Band Members" page anyway, DLManiac (talk. Teddy2Gloves(talk)(contribs) 03:40, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
A couple things. Can you please learn talk page etiquette? Do your research on how wikipedia works please. There are rules and guidelines. It's not necessary to tag me on this discussion. Also, it doesn't matter what YOU think. Wikipedia doesn't do things because YOU think so. Also, you should consider if the bands really warrant a band member page and probably start a discussion on the respective band page before you create one. — DLManiac (talk) 03:45, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Panic! Timeline

I recently added a new section on the List of Panic! at the Disco band members talk page about the newly edited timeline. Would like to have a response from you. Thanks. --"Hey there! How's it goin?" 05:30, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Hey there. I responded back on the Panic! Members talk page and would like to keep this going until we reach an agreement. Thanks "Hey there! How's it goin'?" 20:17, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Swmrs. File:I See Stars 2011.png deleted

Hi There

I've had to delete this file as the license is incorrect. On flick the user has selected a no-derivatives license here which is not counted as an acceptable free license - Peripitus (Talk) 09:33, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Attila 2014.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on File:Brent Allen.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Electric Century

Hi! Thanks for participating in the Electric Century AfD discussion. Just wanted to ask where you got the info on the duo's upcoming album? I do notice their "massive news" announcement on Kerrang! Magazine but I wanted to know how the article already has info on a name and a release date on the album, seeing that you created a redirect for the name to the Electric Century article. Thanks! "Hey there! How's it goin'?" 04:32, 24 February 2016 (UTC) Sure! I read the magazine article but heres a website link too the source as well! i have you listed as a contributor and creator @ http://bandwidthlife.tumblr.com/ty

do you know any other timeline makers i ought to contact? also, would you be interested in participating in an online interview? i would like to create a zine about timeline makers featuring the standardized aesthetic. i can be contacted via email at bluemonk@uw.edu

hope you find all of this well.

The article Jonathan Wolfe (Vocalist) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.  Ben Ben (talk) 09:11, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Escape the Fate Live by Rockin Ryan Richardson.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Escape the Fate Live by Rockin Ryan Richardson.jpg, which you've attributed to Rockin Ryan Richardson. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ninja Diannaa (Talk) 17:32, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
