Thanks; that's quite a compliment (and quite an offer). The only downside about Harvard is that it does not offer a degree in civil engineering, my intended major. And before you say MIT, I have to say I'm looking for an all-around, instead of specialized, school (if only they combined MIT and Harvard...). Harvardian aspiring engineers often choose physics, math, social studies, or sociology as their "concentration" (unfortunately, some small vestiges of elitism do remain at Harvard, and the curricular vocabulary is one: we don't have "majors.") Much flexibility is also given to undergraduates in designing their own course of study, so you may make the civil engineering curriculum for yourself, in consultation with a faculty advisor.
Your suspicion regarding our friends on the other side of Cambridge is correct: M.I.T. really is as frighteningly dull as is reported (for those people who have any interest in the humanities, anyway.)

So you went to Harvard (still there?)... that answers a lot. I have visited Harvard on many occasions (note the second sentence of the bio on my userpage) and went once last August in a prospective student state-of-mind. Ironically, I grew up about an hour outside of Charlottesville. UVA is much more pretentious as an aspirant to academic esteem than Harvard is as a supposed possessor of it. —Let's do a poll on the fact that Bush is an African American and has black skin? If the majority said "yes" would you accept the results? I think you would not and would point to WP:NOR (i.e. you would say that this is original research). I am doing the same thing (i.e. calling table 2 original research).

I didn't realize ab meant from. That's actually, like Jo and Tu, the first two letters of a name (Abbas). But, I suppose Tariq from JoTu works perfectly fine as well. Regarding Stanford, I know getting into Stanford is tough for anyone, no matter how intelligent one may be. I'd have to say I'm satisfied with the SAT situation and the place I'm working now and during the school year. Apparently Xolozhas some confidence too. Perhaps being black may help, but I honestly hope people don't capitalize on that (I know you didn't mean any harm). I remember this intelligent black student last year got accepted to MIT and well... he got the affirmative action flack from so many people. But then he went off to MIT, letting them be bitter all with their lonesomes. I predict a similar kind of reaction will be directed towards me, regardless of what happens in my college application process. Therein lies the biggest problem with affirmative action in education and employment - those racial minorities who are perfectly capable of getting in / getting hired on their own merits are commingled by everyone with those that were "pulled up by their ears", to quote a Russian saying, and that doesn't help one bit. Hey Tariqabjotu, not to be burden, but you do know Wikipedia a whole lot better than I do. i was experiementing with those windows that you can 'Click to Show' and 'Click to Hide'. I made a successful one a User:Scrumshus/Userbox mini. However, when I tried to work it into my inofbox on the left side of my userpage, it wouldn't cooperate. I tried working it inot my alternate inofbox, but it didn't work either. If you follow my links, you'll see what I'm talking about. Can you help me fit my Show/Hide bar into my inofobx? Haha, no worries. VS seems amazing. It makes up for all of the places AmiDaniel said he would inprove for VP 1.3, but hasn't yet (e.g. IRC RC feed, etc.). I've actually been struggling to make it work for 2 weeks now. It's possible to make it work on a windows computer using a special distribution of Linux, Knoppix. Alright. Omicronpersei8 and I had a huge discussion about this. You need to download Knoppix from here. It's a German project, so make sure that you get the English version (Germans also have a different keyboard, so you'll be really screwed =D). Like you probably read in the Wikipedia article, Knoppix loads Linux into your RAM, and compresses a large amount of information onto the CD. It can't really screw up your PC, and you won't have to repartition. Linux is, as a whole, very confusing, at least for me, but you seem pretty smart. Maybe you can make up where I left off. This is the relevant section of the talk page where we discussed it. It's probably a better idea to download the torrent (faster and less server load). Let me know if you have any further questions. I cannot agree with your edits because they contain many weasel words and inaccuracies.
1. What is "world's geographically largest university"? What does it mean?

2. Metro is not a scientific institution, its busyness should not be placed in intro.
4.Moscow became Summer Olympics site not because its "sport atmosphere" and the atmosphere changed during the 26 years.

The original intro was choppy; it had one- and two-sentence paragraphs. The intro is supposed to be a summary of the article and, in my opinion, this intro covers most of the major sections briefly.
