Collapsing warnings and incivil responses. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 03:20, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Happiness Begins Tour, you may be blocked from editing. livelikemusic (TALK!) 12:59, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Tape2020. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ad Orientem (talk) 03:19, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I did not ATTACK ANYONE.

Yes, you did. And if you do it again, I will block you. -Ad Orientem (talk) 04:56, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I did NOT.
If you do not understand that what you wrote represents an uncivil attack on another editor then I predict your tenure here is going to be short. -Ad Orientem (talk) 05:03, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Saying what I said is not an uncivil attack. LET ME STAY.
The community has long determined that it is unacceptable to address other editors in that manner. You are free to disagree with our community policies and guidelines. But you are not free to violate them. As long as you refrain from that sort of behavior you won't get blocked. At least not for that. I will post a template below with some useful links you can check out at your leisure. -Ad Orientem (talk) 05:11, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I did NOT vandalize. I am just trying to help.

Hello Tape2020. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Ad Orientem, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

  Do be bold
  Do assume good faith
  Do be civil
  Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
  Don't commit vandalism

If you need further help, you can:
  Ask a question
or you can:
  Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Saying you are reverting because you "don't agree with it," is not acceptable. Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Concerts#Tables, MOS:TABLECAPTION and MOS:DTAB, this is how tables are to be set up now. Continuing to change is against the MOS. livelikemusic (TALK!) 12:50, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LET ME REVERT THEM BACK.
No. That's not how they are to be set up, per MOS, which we must follow on Wikipedia. It genuinely seems you are not here to adhere to Wiki policy and guidelines — especially when Ad Orientem (talk · contribs) linked to some above, and even tried assisting you. Also, please sign your posts with ~~~~ when you post on talk pages! livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:10, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

THEY NEED TO GO BACK. FUCK YOU.

@Ad Orientem: Looks like user is not heeding your warning earlier, and is continuing to hurl personal attacks in an uncivil way. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:11, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am not hurling attacks.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ad Orientem (talk) 20:12, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is the last block you will receive with an expiration date. The next time you attack another editor in that, or similar manner I will block you indefinitely. -Ad Orientem (talk) 20:14, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. livelikemusic (TALK!) 03:23, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sing to Me Instead Tour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Beacon Theatre (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — Status (talk · contribs) 11:58, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Sleep, Baby, Sleep: Quiet Songs for Quiet Times, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~ Amkgp 💬 05:33, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Rebel Heart Tour, you may be blocked from editing. —Ojorojo (talk) 13:03, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I’m not in ANY WAY disrupting. 🖕 Tape2020 (talk) 13:40, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Except, you are. And it has been said, by Ad Orientem, to stop making personal attacks against editors or it would lead to an immediate, permanent block from them; your use of the middle finger emoji is a clear violation of that. livelikemusic (TALK!) 13:59, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

Hello, Tape2020. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "If Not For You".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
