Hello Tanvir che. May I ask as to why you cited vandalism as the reason for my addition of the Manx language (GV) interwiki Yn Vangladesh to the list of other languages? As you can see here I have been creating pages of information about all the countries of the world to promote the Manx language wikipedia. If you do not agree that the Manx language version should be listed here then I suggest you delete the interwiki links to ALL languages including French, German, Irish, Russian, Spanish, Bengali etc. If you wish to leave me a message I am also at MacTire. 86.42.16.56 is my IP address MacTire 13:27, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of Omfg

Hi. I've declioned this speedy. If you check the page history it was just an incident of vandalism to an otherwise fine soft redirect to Wiktionary. Pedro :  Chat  10:26, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

I've answered about this issue in your Talk Page. Thank you. Tanvir che (talk) 14:29, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Discussions should remain on one page (the one they begin on) and not flip-flop needlessly between multiple pages. With regard to what you wrote on my talk page:
"Just check the history page, you have noticed that General note: Vandalism on Babe Ruth. (TW)) is indicated that I've also warned this user about the article Babe Ruth and revert vandalism by using Twinkle. But possible an error ocuured so TW added the General note: Vandalism on Babe Ruth. (TW)) but the warning and revert doesn't work. Thank you, Tanvir che"
I don't know what you mean - you have no edits on the Babe Ruth page today - and your one edit on that user's talk page consists only of a large deletion of its content. Perhaps you are saying that Twinkle has a bug in it and that is your reason for having deleted so much content; in that case, please stop using Twinkle. At the end of the day, you are responsible for your edits - whether you use a separate tool or not. Thanks. Quaeler (talk) 14:50, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your suggestions. Tanvir che (talk) 15:25, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your suggestions in my talkpage. I am again saying radio metrowave is not on the air now. The official website you have given at the article in not OK. Please check yourself. The website redirects to another site which is not the website of Radio Metrowave. May be the domain is not under the Readio Metrowave authority. Moreover, this channel is closed down because it didnot paid Bangladesh Betar in time. Please check [1]. Hasan 17:30, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Re: Islamic University

I have merged Islamic University of Bangladesh to Islamic University, and cleaned up the merged article a bit. Looks good to me. I have also merged to talk pages. Take a look. And, oh, it was never about the Islamic University of Technology. Did anyone mention it anywhere? Aditya(talkcontribs) 06:02, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Oleoylethanolamide, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. • Can you be a little bit more specific? Expanding a stub with essential information is constructive in my opinion. Please let me know what kind of information would be more useful.

What are you on about - you reverted two edits. Clearly the first one was a typo that I had fixed before you reverted it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 2007apm (talkcontribs) 10:57, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

As the name of the article suggests that the first line should be The Economy of Kosovo not that you have written as Kosovo is one of the ..... It can be placed on the Talk:Economy of Kosovo for general discussion.Thank you. Tanvir che (talk) 11:58, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

What are you talking about? Tanvir, your reverts and accusations of vandalism are not acceptable. there was NO VANDALISM on the Kosovo article. Sennen goroshi (talk) 12:08, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Edit to Siberian Husky was not Vandalism

I have noticed that you have made many edits recently, most of them either claiming to remove vandalism, or placing vandalism warnings on user pages. I have also noticed that some of the so-called vandalism that you have removed, is NOT vandalism. Merely changing an article, does not constitute vandalism, for example, on the Siberian Husky page, you reverted an edit that used the word "bitch" - "bitch" is the correct term for a female dog, so how is that vandalism? you also put a vandalism warning on the users page. There are many good edits that you have reverted due to you not understanding what is and what is NOT vandalism. I suggest until such time as you are able to understand the difference between an edit and vandalism, you stop reverting people, you stop placing vandalism warnings - infact why not spend some time learning a little more about wikipedia, before you start accusing people of things that they have not done. Sennen goroshi (talk) 12:06, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

thanks for the response, I think my tone was a little rude, so I apologise for that. If you are unclear about what is and isnt vandalism, why not check out the admins notice board, you will see many complaints, but take notice of the complaints that result in someone being blocked. they are the true vandals Sennen goroshi (talk) 12:28, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Invitation to join discussion

Dear member, I have started a collaboration discussion on WikiProject Bangladeshi Universities talk page to start a collaboration among the Wikipedians who are working for this project. Initially we want to know who are working on which articles and what are the problems they are facing while editing those articles. Moreover, we want to create a standard format suitable for Bangladeshi universities, which will also be discussed there. I would appreciate your effort to come and express your views regarding this issue. Kind regards, -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 14:28, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Edits to Marisol Deluna not vandalism

I noticed you marked edits made by 70.5.80.163 as vandalism. The edits made by this user were by the looks of it, not vandalism at all. He/She corrected a categorization mistake I made (as having her in the San Antonio [referring to the county in Chile] category rather than the San Antonio, Texas category), and the addition of sources. Although one of these sources may have not been needed (specifically, a link to a CNN article with a comment from her husband, an attorney representing the makers of Equal), I believe it was improper for you to revert all of his edits back to my last edit; the user's edits were clearly not vandalism. --Mr. Brown (talk) 03:51, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:IslamicUniversityKushtia.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:IslamicUniversityKushtia.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:17, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bangladesh Public Service Commission, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://banglapedia.search.com.bd/HT/B_0235.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:24, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Request for your review

I nominated List of universities in Bangladesh on 25 March 2008 as a Featured List candidate. So far, four editors reviewed the list and requested significant changes and modifications. I tried my level best to meet all the recommendations. It would be really nice if you also review the list and place your opinion (support/oppose). I am looking forward to receive your comments and recommendations on the nomination page. Cheers! -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 10:48, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Bangladesh Public Service Commission requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. slow down?

I understand I think you are apologising for reverting my good faith edit. However the text you left on my talk page only makes a bit of sense. Do you need to slow down a bit? cheers Victuallers (talk) 15:22, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

You said "Sorry for place this here. I assume that, It was just a mistake of you. I've just reverted your good faith edit"
I think you meant "Sorry for placing this here. I assume that, It was just a mistake of mine. I've just reverted my revertion of your good faith edit"

There is a big difference in the meaning. Cheers Victuallers (talk) 15:38, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Savar Cantonment

A tag has been placed on Savar Cantonment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. From-cary (talk) 12:13, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Alisa Apps

You're rollback request

Hello Tanvir che, I have granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Just remember that rollback should only be used for reverting vandalism, and that misuse (either by using them to revert good-faith edits or to revet-war) can lead to its removal. For practice, you may be interested in seeing Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 17:13, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome! With my talk page, I'll get around to doing it on Monday. I currently have slow internet at the moment, and archiving a big page is difficult for now. Thanks for the reminder, however. Acalamari 17:58, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
