If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Talks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. If you don't want your articles to get CSD'd...

[edit]

Don't put them in mainspace with zero references. If you're not finished with an article and it has no references, make it as a WP:Draft first. I saw the article creation in New Page Patrol, and it had been deleted four previous times for lack of notability. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 01:17, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Talks moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Talks, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please take more care

[edit]

I stub-sorted your stub Electricity (novel), and was about to leave one of my standard messages:

Hallo, Thank you for creating Electricity (novel). When you create an article like this with a "disambiguated" title, please make sure that the reader can find it from the basic name (ie Electricity), by adding or expanding a hatnote, or adding the article to a disambiguation page. This helps the reader to find the new article, and also reduces the chance of a future careless editor creating a duplicate article with a slightly different disambiguator. I've fixed this one. Thanks, and Happy Editing.

And I was going to tag it with {{link rot}} and {{One source}} ...

But then I looked at the one source and realised that it is clearly about a completely different book, by a completely different author.

I've now added both the novels as links in Electricity (disambiguation), and made redirects from both of them in disambiguated form, and redirected Electricity (novel) to point to the disambiguation page.

Please take more care when editing the encyclopedia. Remember to provide proper references rather than bare URLs. Remember to provide navigational links as I've described above. But above all remember to take care that you are not adding incorrect information to the encyclopedia, as you did here. If you make a pattern of such careless contributions you might find that you are given a series of increasing warnings and eventually blocked from editing, to protect the encyclopedia. Thanks. Concern regarding Draft:The Talks

[edit]

Information icon Hello, TangoPappa. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:The Talks, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.
