[edit]Hello, I'm Girth Summit. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Valentine's Day have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. GirthSummit (blether) 14:32, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Flashg321, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

- Hi, I saw the comment you left on the SPI talk page. Just so you understand, there are instruction for how to deal with dead links here. One option is indeed to replace the dead link with a working link to a reliable source that supports the original assertion; the website you were linking to was not, however, a reliable source, and it did not support the assertion that the original citation was intended to support - that's why people were reverting you. Thanks for your apology, and for confirming that you won't act in the same way again. GirthSummit (blether) 08:37, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
