Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Adriano Martins, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. SQGibbon (talk) 14:19, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Weight classes

[edit]

Greetings. Based on your recent edits, I invite you to have a thorough read of MOS:BOXING, specifically the section on weight classes. If a boxer has only fought a few nondescript times at a certain weight (such as a catchweight), but not for a regional or major title, there is no need to include it in the infobox. Billy Joe Saunders, for example, has mainly fought at middleweight—one brief foray into light heavyweight territory doesn't warrant its need in the infobox. Same goes for Roy Jones Jr. (his early fights at light middleweight were nondescript). Hope that helps. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 18:18, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Same thing again. Saunders is not notable for being a super middleweight or light heavyweight, so they don't need adding to his infobox until he starts regularly competing up there for regional/world titles. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 15:00, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Geoff Neal moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Geoff Neal, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:32, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

TNG140, Good day. All content need to be supported by independent. reliable sources for verification. All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution. - see WP:BURDEN or WP:PROVEIT.
The draft page will be in Wikipedia system for the next six months before it it deleted. Pls add in all the sources/references (see how to provide inline citations for info and instructions), before resubmit for review. You can ping me when you done that in due time if you want a quick review and get it approve. Let me know if need further assistance. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:47, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A article I need help with

[edit]

Hello I noticed you touched up my article for Jason Guida. I was wondering if you could also help me finish working on Shannon Ritch. Thanks dude! Sepulwiki (talk) 05:27, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi TNG140, Greetings. I have reverted your edit on the above page "currently.." would be out of contest when a reader read the article in different date and what "currently" would mean different time frames form one editor to the next. Since he "was" released from UFC then it means he "competed" in UFC. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:41, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Damian Grabowski, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bellator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jack May (fighter) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Jack May (fighter), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. –eggofreason(talk · contribs) 22:19, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
