[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Suspect Device (song), from its old location at User:TDMcr/sandbox/Suspect Device (song). This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 16:39, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

- Hi B, the SuspectDevice.jpg I posted is the front cover of a single and my understanding is that I could use a low resolution image of a cover image if its use is solely to illustrate the audio recording in question. Is my understanding correct? If it is, then I would have thought that my use of the jpg on the Suspect Device page would be OK.
Apologies for taking up your time and bear with me as I'm relatively need to Wikipedia editing. Thanks

[edit]Hello, I'm Uamaol. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. NPOV is met. The sentence is merely telling of something which has been quoted by the publications. Do you have sources telling this is a "minority partisan view?" Add it to the article instead of censuring it! UaMaol (talk) 02:03, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Uamaol. I noticed that you removed topically-relevant content from Official Irish Republican Army. However, Wikipedia is not censored. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - I’m responding to your objection of my edit of the Official IRA page. The article states that the Official IRA “were sometimes nicknamed the “Red IRA” by others”. I think this is misleading as this label was never widely used. The only references I can find to the “Red IRA” label is an article in the New York Times in March 1971 and then repeated in the New York Times Obituary of Seamus Twomey in September 1989.
- My concern is that any students, writers or journalists who reuse this label after reading the Wikipedia article would cause confusion as this nickname has never been used widely, in particular in Ireland, to describe the Official IRA.
- My proposed deletion of the phrase is not censorship as it is aimed at making the article more accurate and all other references to left wing/Marxist influences in the Official IRA have quite rightly been maintained.
- I think my proposed edit improves the article and is in the spirit of building a collaborative consensus.

AfC notification: Draft:The Clash and Belfast has a new comment
[edit]- Thanks for your very prompt feedback. I've amended the draft to take on board your comments. In particular, I have changed the wording to make it a more formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. I have also made changes so that it is written from a neutral point of view and deleted peacock terms. Thank you for your comments. TDMcr (talk) 14:14, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Asparagusus, I've made further changes to the draft The Clash and Belfast article. In fact, it is a major edit! The changes are in response to your comments about the need for a more formal neutral point of view tone of an encyclopedia article. It would be really good if you got the opportunity to have a look at the redraft. Thanks TDMcr (talk) 14:20, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
