Hoary (talk) 00:24, 27 September 2021 (UTC)I love your username
[edit]Hi. As a botanist, I couldn't help but notice your username at the Teahouse, as its great to see plant names being used here. I'm a bit old-school, myself, and still call it S. rivularis, but it's a bit of an invasive non-native species over here in the UK. So watch out for admins bearing glyphosate! Cheers, Nick Moyes (talk) 16:39, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
- @User:Nick Moyes Thanks! I like choosing usernames based on binomial nomenclature and Wikipedia makes it really easy to follow the phylogeny tree up and down. I admit I never read the snowberry page as thoroughly as I should have, so I had no idea it had other awesome names (perhaps a second account?), though I did ensure it was noninvasive to my hemisphere at the very least. I'll be watching out for that glyphosate, thanks for the warning. Symphoricarpos albus (talk) 23:35, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
