Thanks for uploading Image:La-192-car-pileup2003.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on TENEX Computer Express, by 69.208.71.251 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because TENEX Computer Express was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting TENEX Computer Express, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:27, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Dithered Twits

[edit]

I have nominated Dithered Twits, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dithered Twits. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Fair use rationale for File:La-192-car-pileup2003.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:La-192-car-pileup2003.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 05:59, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2009

[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Michael Phelps. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. GlassCobra 14:48, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For future reference, the sentence in question was "People opposed to marijuana prohibition have begun boycotting Kellogg's over the incident because of course they put marijuana in the breakfast cereals which Phelps ate.". My edit in bold. Yeah, you caught me, I'm a jerk for pointing out the obvious.

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Suso! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 333 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Thom Henderson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Bloomingpedia listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Bloomingpedia. Since you had some involvement with the Bloomingpedia redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 14:02, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Impulse (software company) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
