A tag has been placed on DXRL (Kidapawan) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hugsyrup 16:24, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

Re: Los Bastardos episodes

Good day User:Superastig

Dropped by to ask you something. I've seen your body of work and you've done a lot of episode pages. The teleserye Los Bastardos doesn't have one despite ABS-CBN actually providing for hashtags for it everyday. I was wondering if you could also work on creating an episodes page for it. Thank you.

Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 15:10, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Good day. I'd love to create one, but I'm busy with other stuff for now. It'd take me a lot of time to browse for the titles of its previous episodes and I rely on IMDB for such. I suggest you can ask User:Barneysss or User:MysteryMrHandsome to create it; the latter restored one for Kadenang Ginto. I believe they have a lot of resources for that teleserye than I do. Cheers. You wanna ride in the Six. You wanna dine in the Six. 00:45, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Sure thing, I will make it on Friday night. Thank you User:Superastig for mentioning me. MysteryHandsome (talk) 02:26, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Re: Thank you!

Good day User:Superastig!

Thanks for filling in for me on the updating of episodes on various pages. I am so relieved knowing that you're there to carry on for me when I couldn't tend to it. I wrote to give you my heartfelt thanks for doing so. In the coming months my contributions will dwindle because I'm preparing for a big board exam in November. Knowing that you're there, I could take my mind off of updating the pages for a while. So again, a great big thanks to you!

Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 05:00, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

Radyo Rapido Catarman moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Radyo Rapido Catarman, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. 2019 US Banknote Contest

US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Nomination of DZRV-FM for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article DZRV-FM is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DZRV-FM until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Onel5969 TT me 10:30, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

Notice

The article DXBS (DavNor) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The existence of this FM station is questionable. For a purported station that first aired in 2017, it is not listed by the NTC in their 2018 or 2019 lists. In Region 11, only DXDG in Tagum (Davao del Norte) and a station in Mati (Davao Oriental) broadcasts in 101.5.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bluemask (talk) 04:52, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

@Bluemask: The station may have its own FB page, I even found a note in its group. I recently browsed the list again and its callsign belongs to the station in Bislig, however. Since it's not listed in the database, is it considered a pirate station? SJTIT's only authorized frequency in that region is 96.1 in ComVal, which reportedly started its broadcast last year. Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Hello Superastig,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged DXIQ for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Your draft article, Draft:DXIQ

Hello, Superastig. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "DXIQ".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Radyo Rapido Catarman, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

February 2020

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of Love Thy Woman episodes; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Cheers, Polyamorph (talk) 18:47, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Re: List of Love Thy Woman episodes

Good day Superastig (talk · contribs)!

I'd like to ask if you're still going to make a page devoted to the List of Love Thy Woman episodes. It's the odd one out of all the Dreamscape shows as it stands, since 24/7 and Sandugo have their own episodes page. When I first started putting the episodes on Love Thy Woman's page, it was meant only to be provisional as I was of the assumption you'd soon create a page devoted to it and then migrate the episodes there. Anyway, whatever your decision on the matter, I'll respect.

Re: Ang Probinsyano awards

Good day Superastig (talk · contribs)!

I dropped by your talk page to ask for your help regarding the table for awards and nominations received by Ang Probinsyano. The table only includes awards that the show has garnered from 2015-2018 but does not have any entry for 2019 or 2020. The table could use some cleaning up to. The entries stopped because the table was once removed by an administrator after being listed as a listcruft. I only got permission to restore it back when I found a reference to back up the awards listed there. I've just finished writing new sections and adding content to the page and all that's left to be updated is the awards section for which I would need help.

Hoping for a positive response on this request.

Superastig, And which source shows that “We Could Be Sweet Lovers” was a single? Where in The Telegraph source does it say anything about problems with A&R causing him to retire? Did you follow the established style of the track listing and citations? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 06:34, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
(1) I based the singles from his discography page. "We Could Be Sweet Lovers" was also released as a single. (2) He mentioned blaxpert in the article from The Telegraph and stated that they wanted him to copy James Brown's style instead of using his own. (3) Honestly, there's nothing wrong with using the track listing template. It looks more organized than stating every song and details in just one line. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 06:42, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
Superastig, There's nothing wrong with using a plain list (and in fact, good reasons to do so) or using list-defined sources. Please do not change them because of what you prefer. If you find a reliable source (Discogs is not) that claims it's a single, feel free to add it. Otherwise, please do not add unsourced information. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 06:45, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
I never said that there's nothing wrong with using a plain list. And I'm long aware that Discogs isn't considered a reliable source, but I consider it as an external source. Re: Sockpuppetry of Albe23413

Good day Superastig!

My friend I dropped by to ask for your help again, well it's not about information this time but about sockpuppets of Albe23413 that is editing the common pages we edit. I've just done some snooping and discovered another one Shoonami - has popped up. The user last edited the "list of episodes" pages of the various GMA shows you edit. The editing patterns are too similar so as to create little doubt that the user is a sockpuppet of Albe23413. The said user has been well-documented to have been using sockpuppets to avoid the block placed on him due to having committed sockpuppetry. For more info, see: Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Albe23413. Now my friend, seeing as the affected pages are the ones we are editing, I'm going to ask you to stay vigilant. If you see an editor with an editing pattern similar to Albe23413 and his sockpuppets, report them immediately to a user with Checkuser privilege. Warmest regards Gardo Versace (talk) 11:52, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

The problem is Albe23413 doesn't have an investigation page. He's supposed to have one since he has multiple accounts.
Gardo Versace, I suggest you activate Twinkle. It's a very helpful gadget. Once activated, go to his user page and follow these steps from this page:

Go to the suspected sockpuppet's user or talk page, click on the Twinkle tag, chose "ARV", then for report type chose "sockpuppet" and fill in the name of the "sockpuppeteer" (the older, master account). In the evidence area you should provide a few diffs and a very short explanation of why you think they are a sockpuppet. Keep it simple, don't drone on or insert your opinions on them as a person. Be sure to include a few diffs to show the linkage. The vast majority of the time, you should NOT select "Notify user". The CheckUser box is usually not selected either. If it is required, an SPI clerk will request and endorse it. Don't add the word "User:" before the person's name in the report, and don't sign the report with the regular ~~~~ signature. The tools do this automatically for you.

I hope these steps will help. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 01:45, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
@Superastig: That surely was informative. I haven't tried going for sockpuppet investigations before but I'll try this the next time he pops up. I always make it a point to report his sockpuppets directly to a user with Checkuser privilege along with the diffs that show the similarity in their behavior. I've also made it a point not to tag the suspected sockpuppet whenever I report it to the Checkuser. But last night was different man, his sockpuppets have wisened up to the point that they've been stalking my activity to see if I've reported them. That's why I turned to you for help because its the pages we watch that he edits, and I didn't even detect that he has a sockpuppet until after he started editing Ang Probinsyano again as a month ago, he confined himself to GMA Network dramas and episodes lists. Anyway, thank you my friend. Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 07:59, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

AfD comments

When commenting on AfDs, why do you always say that you won't respond any further? Isn't the point of AfDs productive discussion, not a vote? Sam-2727 (talk) 02:52, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Sam-2727, I've had heated arguments in previous AfDs. And when I explained why I voted to either keep or redirect a certain article, the nominator would insist that I haven't explained more than enough, even if in fact I did. Nowadays, I tend to stay away from arguments by saying such because I'm not interested in arguing with them over my votes and views. I've said what I've said to support my votes. I hope you understand. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 03:40, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Sockpuppet page protection

Good day Superastig!

I dropped by to ask for your help in combatting the sockpuppeteer Albe23413 and his many sockpuppets. I've just reported another one Pamasawata0296 and that account was created 5 hours ago and 2 days since the last sockpuppet, Cocisj455 was blocked. Am getting tired of having to continually be on the lookout for his socks and reporting them. I'm looking into a more permanent solution to deter the sockpuppeteer from coming back. So I'd like to ask if you can look into requesting sockpuppet protection to the pages Albe23413 and his socks edit? It's usually ABS-CBN shows, especially Ang Probinsyano and related pages to it that the user edits. These are the very pages we watch, and on top of the fact that that's the case, we also have to consider the fact that Albe23413 and his socks have a history of disruptive and unconstructive editing. That's why I'd like to have a more permanent solution to the Albe23413 problem. Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 15:22, 30 June 2020 (UTC)

@Superastig: UPDATE! After seeing this Special:Diff/964464870 wherein the page was placed under sockpuppet protection, I tried asking for help from the admin that placed the protection, Ponyo which you can see here. Maybe you can also give inputs into that request since Albe23413 frequents the common pages we watch and some of the GMA Telebabad dramas that you watch here on Wikipedia. Thank you. Regards Gardo Versace (talk) 16:58, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
Gardo Versace, sorry for the late reply. Albe23413 rarely touched the pages of any of GMA dramas under his sockpuppets. I've read your convos with NinjaRobotPirate and Ponyo, and you've done a good job. The shows and their respective episode list should be semi-protected so that auto-confirmed users can only edit them. There are two ways to request for protection in those pages:
a. Go to this page. The instructions are there for multiple page requests with the same criteria.
b. If your Twinkle is activated, go to any page or list, click on the Twinkle tag, chose "RPP", then for report type chose "Persistent vandalism (semi)". In the reasons area, select "indefinite" as duration and provide a few diffs to show the linkage.
I've done those a couple of times before. I hope these steps will help. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 01:17, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
@Superastig: This surely helps, Ponyo has placed the page under protection now but I'll still be taking note of this the next time Albe23413 shows up. Did you read that very angry message he left for me? Hahahaha Gardo Versace (talk) 01:41, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
Gardo Versace, I've read them before. And parang bata magsalita si Albe23413. 😂 That is an example of a personal attack. He never assumes good faith in a lot of his edits. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 00:44, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
@Superastig: Hahahahaha! Honestly, matagal na akong pikon dun sa page-edit nun. Pakiramdam ko WP:NOTHERE din siya kasi lagi siyang nakikipag-unahan sa pag-eedit as if he wants the credit. I mean it's not a race and it really doesn't matter who gets the credit for the edit, clearly not here to build an encyclopedia. Buti na lang talaga nasilip ko yung sock niya nung February, ayun sinumbong ko kay Bbb23. I just didn't expect na makakagawa siya ng ganun karami hahahaha! Gardo Versace (talk) 00:52, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
Gardo Versace, sorry for the late reply. Methinks she loves to get in the way with others' contributions. She once asked me where to get the hashtags of GMA dramas, but I refused to tell her. And I have no idea kung ba't palagi siyang galit sayo.
BTW, her edits remind me of a former user who had created a ton of articles for several shows and episode lists in the past, notably the ones in GMA. And in some occasions, whenever a hashtag for a certain show is published, he updates the list right away. At kadalasan siya pinagalitan ni HotWiki for updating the no. of episodes ahead of their schedule. There are a few instances where I update the title for a Saturday episode. Minutes later, he undid my contributions using a certain IP address and reinstate it under his username as if it was his contribution. The next time I updated it, naglagay ako ng banta para hindi niya mabura yung na-edit ko. And it worked. 😏 ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 09:11, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
May WP:OWN problem din yun kaya much as possible umiiwas ako sa pag-edit ng GMA pages. Sa mga ABS-CBN shows naman yung ganyan din ang ugali si Barneysss, buti tumigil, ang dami nagrereklamo dun eh. Honestly, kakaunti lang kayo na users na pinoy na napagkakatiwalaan ko dito, pero seeing the pinoy Wikipedia community, I see na marami naman maaayos din na editors, I just haven't had the opportunity to collaborate regularly with them like we do. It's always a pleasure collaboragi g with you because you're one of the very few users I truly trust. Gardo Versace (talk) 12:48, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
Gardo Versace, yes. That's Mc Eduard. He's got fast hands when it comes to updating such stuff. By the time I started contributing to episode lists of some GMA dramas, he left me a message, thanking me. After a couple of weeks, natuto akong makipagsabay sa kanya. When I updated the episode lists of all onging GMA dramas for that day, he left me a message again, saying:

Thank you for updating the episode titles of all current GMA drama series, I know you are updated to these episodes and official hashtags on Facebook and Twitter immediately, but I'm so disappointed because it is already updated. I'm so sad about it. Thank you for your kind consideration.

Despite thanking me, di ko alam ang mga sinasabi niya. From then on, I'd update the episode lists of all onging GMA dramas once or twice a week. And later on, yung sa ABS-CBN dramas din. Nasanay ako sa galaw niya. However, there are times when he played dirty with anyone's edits, kagaya ng ginawa niya sa Saturday episodes, to the point na naging credit grabber siya. I couldn't believe he tried to stop you from updating. Sino siya para pigilan ka? Anyone has the right to update them.
I wasn't aware that he also ran a few more accounts until I realized that he was blocked. At nalaman ko din 'to. I wouldn't comment about it, pero karma niya yan. But things started to loosen up since nawala siya. It's for the better of HotWiki.
As for HotWiki, he does have some serious problems. He's too strict when it comes to formatting in pages of every GMA show. When I tried to help him by fixing parts of some of the pages, he'd usually disregard them. And I had no choice, but to play safe and follow his "rules" & WP:MOS. (And I'm thinking of applying some of them to pages of ABS-CBN shows.) I even created a few pages for then-upcoming GMA shows. Pero imbes na pasalamatan niya ako, nainis pa siya sa ilang bahagi ng mga inedit ko. Ilang beses kami nagalitan dahil sa maliit na bagay diyan, he even warned me twice for alleged "edit war".
He even gets in the way to anyone who touches some of his projects. Triggered siya sa maliit na bagay. I even find it ironic na ginagawa niya yung ginawa ni Mc Eduard sa mga no. of episodes, as if may magu-update diyan maliban sa kanya. Di porket bahagi ng project niya ang mga pages ng GMA shows. Sa totoo lang, nababanas ako sa kanya because of his attitude. He should know that no editor is perfect. Anyone can hardly cooperate with that Hot-Tempered Wiki. Kaya, iniiwasan ko na din siya as much as I can.
And as for Barneysss, mahirap din siyang kausapin. One time, he was involved in an edit war with me re: Pamilya Ko. I clarified to him about it. Pero imbes na sundan niya, nakipagtalo pa siya sa akin.
Anyway, even if I'm not part of Tambayan Philippines or any other WikiProject, I still have the chance to collaborate with other editors in various aspects, lalo na sa mga pinoy when it comes to PH Radio & TV. And I'm also glad to collaborate with you at times. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 04:33, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

Infobox RfC

I'm proposing a redesign containing visual, technical and other improvements to {{Infobox radio station}} and {{Infobox broadcast}}. The discussion is located at Wikipedia:WikiProject Radio Stations/2020 infobox redesign proposal. As an editor active in editing radio and/or TV station articles, or in recent changes to the templates in question, I wanted to make you aware of this proposal and kindly ask for your feedback. I'm particularly looking for feedback on potential improvements with an eye to radio and TV articles outside the United States, such as those in the Philippines. Raymie (tc) 05:14, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

Raymie, thanks. I've seen the redesigns. Aside from joining the discussion, is it OK if I can set a few examples using the redesign? ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 06:30, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Superastig Of course! There are about 15 examples already at User:Nathan Obral/Infobox experiment/Example (radio) and three TVs at User:Raymie/Infobox broadcast revamp/Example, if you haven't seen those yet. Any specific feedback or items that might be particularly useful in the Philippines? Raymie (tc) 06:37, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Raymie, no specific feedback for now. The labels used for Philippine radio stations are almost the same as the ones used in the US, except that both AM & FM stations here announce their transmitting powers. I usually pattern them to those in the US, thanks to Orangemike's past contributions on Philippine radio. I suggest you also ask Bluemask for feedback regarding your redesigns. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 08:29, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Superastig, you did prompt me to add a TPO field to the TV template to support articles in the Philippines (and some in Japan). Raymie (tc) 16:40, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited My Mine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Italian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Ang Probinsyano new episodes

Hey!!! Dropped by to say I made a mistake. iWant does indeed count these rereuns as new episodes similar to the last 10 episodes of Season 7. The only difference was Dreamscape gave an effort to at least change the episode names of the reruns in Season 7 and merged episodes to create a unique airing whereas in Season 8, it's essentially the same episode that originally aired with the same episode title. You can revert my previous edit since I made a mistake. Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 00:09, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

Gardo Versace, thanks for clarifying. I was skeptical with the title at first as I wasn't sure if the rerun would count or not. So, I had to leave it for others to judge. ASTIG😎 (ICE TICE CUBE) 04:38, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

SPO4 Santiago: Sharpshooter moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, SPO4 Santiago: Sharpshooter, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published.
