References are not added in the section References. References are added immediately after the text supported by the references. The system automatically adds them to the list and renumbers and references that come after. Personally, I find it useful to create the ref in my Sandbox, then copy into article when Publish changes shows the ref is correctly formatted. David notMD (talk) 05:11, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, StrawberryHedgehog! Thank you for your contributions. I am Gobonobo and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}}

Some info for you..
[edit]Yes, other people can read your sandbox, and also make edits to it. This ia very helpful if you are working on a project, or have asked for some help from an editor, etc.
At any rate, I will be happy to add your refs for you. If you will post the info on the article talkpage, I will see it. Tribe of Tiger Let's Purrfect! 20:42, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
