Recent artiles
[edit]I've deleted your recent articles on "Orkney Pool" because it isn't obvious what it is, nor whether it has received the necessary level of independent coverage in media or scholarship to establish sourcing and notability. Please remember that events and organizations must meet notability standards for inclusion, and that an encyclopedia article must explain what the subject is in a clear and concise manner, as well as why it is important. Per the note in your sandbox. Please remember that userspace is meant as a place to work on encyclopedic material, not as a repository for data that would not meet inclusion criteria in the larger encyclopedia. If you need help working through the notability and referencing criteria, I'd be happy to help. Acroterion (talk) 18:43, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

- I suggest you construct articles in your userspace sandbox (you can create as may as you need in the address line with /Sandbox2, /Sandbox3, etc. and add your references there. I'd be happy to look them over to see if they meet notability guidelines. If you can fin d more than purely local references (like a discussion of the national competition you mentioned) and if you can summarize the event to be read by a total stranger up front, that would be a great help. Not recommended
[edit]I wouldn't recommend trying to make the page with a promotional purpose. It will quickly be deleted. If it has accomplished notable (perhaps reveal them here) and you write it neutrally, than there is a possibility to keep it. I wouldn't write you off right away because a lot of my work involves creating pages for less known acts (and so far none of my have been deleted).TheGracefulSlick (talk) 15:07, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
