Jennifer Lopez

[edit]

Thank you for your additions to Jennifer Lopez discography. However splitting the singles into decades is not required. This type of formatting is reserved for artists who's careers have spanned many years. With a singing career of just 12 years splitting the tables serves no purpose considering that the majority of her singles fall in the middle years leaving two small tables at the beginning and end. The formatting as such unecessarily adds 8,000 kb to the article without adding anything else. Please do not make such edits again. You made an edit, i reverted and thus according to WP:BRD you should no discuss at Talk:Jennifer Lopez discography. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 02:26, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Ariana Dvornik for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Ariana Dvornik is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ariana Dvornik until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. J Milburn (talk) 20:59, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions. One of your recent contributions to Lady Gaga discography has been reverted or removed, because it contains speculative or unconfirmed information about a future event. Wikipedia has a policy called "Wikipedia is not a crystal ball", which discourages such edits. Please only add material about future events if it is verifiable, based on a reference to a reliable source. Thank you. — Legolas (talk2me) 08:58, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not include the Hot 100 Brasil, Portuguese National Top 50, or any other chart listed at WP:BADCHARTS to any Wikipedia articles. Thank you.—Kww(talk) 14:03, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've been looking over your discography work, and I've had to do a lot of removals. Please refer to WP:GOODCHARTS when determining what charts to include, and WP:Record charts for general guidelines. Charts that are only sourced on blogspot or similar hosters are never suitable. Also, please include a source for all chart positions. I've had to assume that the charts you were adding labeled "ABPD" from 2001 and 2002 were actually from hot100brasil.com. Hot100brasil.com is not ABPD: it's an amateur chart with no known sources.—Kww(talk) 13:25, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WYWH

[edit]

Please, stop creating that page until it is actaully released. All the information is exactly the same Goodbye Lullaby alreary has. Being a single is not a reason for creation, and as WP:NSONGS says: "Notability aside, a separate article on a song is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article", and all sources come from the album article. I'm requesting you to wait until the song is released establishing its notability by itself thanks to more than 3 charts and album reviews. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:26, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

[edit]

Hi Stephanie, I have noticed that in Kelly Key (2001 album) you misrepresented some sources and falsified others. It is a violation of our verifiability policy to do so. Please cite actual, reliable sources in relation to the subject. Any information not supported by sources may be deleted. Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:23, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In Bridgit Mendler discography, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page UK Charts (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). What possible reason do you have for not conforming to formatting standards described in Template:Navbox Musical artist? Specifically look at the Examples and See also sections. Your way makes maintenance significantly more difficult and adds nothing that can't be achieved by following the standard layout. Also reverting an edit without an explanation in the edit summary is not helpful in the goal of collaborative editing of articles. --Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:20, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article splits

[edit]

See WP:SPLIT. If you believe the new article meets WP:N, then do the split but don't forget to leave the required attribution histories in both the source and destination articles. A note in the edit summaries of each article saying what you are doing, where the content came from and where the content is going, is the bare minimum needed to meet attribution requirements. False data

[edit]

In this edit, you entered incorrect data for two chart positions. The position for "Skyscraper" looks to be an honest mistake: when the chart is listed as "Tip", that's not the main chart. It isn't correct to mix two different charts in one column. The other one looks more serious: the sources lists "41" as the position, and I can't see any reason that you would believe it to say "2".—Kww(talk) 02:53, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reversions

[edit]

You have been an editor long enough to know the difference between a reliable source and an unreliable source. In this edit, you inserted a group of references to the "mixcharts" channel on YouTube. Worse yet, you did so with an unexplained reversion. How can you justify this reversion? What logic would lead you to believe that this channel qualifies as a reliable source?—Kww(talk) 18:25, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Good Luck Charlie into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Template:Good Luck Charlie, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 00:05, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Austin & Ally into another page. When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. New Zealand certifications

[edit]

New Zealand certifications are certainly real, but this one hasn't got a source. Take a look at the big bright red error message in citation 42 and find a source before you put it back. There's a reason that I remove things with an edit summary of "unsourced", and you shouldn't revert without providing a source.—Kww(talk) 01:55, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"ZZZZZZZ" or not, you need to take these concerns seriously. The history of the article shows that you are constantly restoring material that other editors have removed without making any effort to fix it. If that continues, you will be blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 02:16, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Again

Are you actually claiming that this book, published today, has already made it to Brazil so you could have look at it and use it as a citation?—Kww(talk) 18:25, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Block warning

[edit]

The next time you add information based on anonymous Twitter accounts to a Wikipedia article, you will be blocked from editing. You know our policies on sourcing, and you know that anonymous tweets don't cut it. Apparent fabrication of sources, as you did here doesn't make me look at your edits any more kindly.—Kww(talk) 19:50, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We'll broaden that: material sourced to fansites, completely unsourced material, or fictitious sources will also result in you being blocked. If you cannot find the material in a reliable source, then don't add it at all.—Kww(talk) 02:24, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not xenophobic. I don't care about Bridgit Mendler. I simply want you to stop introducing unreliably sourced material to Wikipedia.—Kww(talk) 02:33, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please review WP:NPA. The fact that you use bad sources doesn't make me a bigot. I block people all the time for the use of sources like the ones you are using, and they come for all over the world, primarily the US and Europe.—Kww(talk) 02:41, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Zendaya: Behind the Scenes

Hi, I'm Sumanah. Stephanie J Stone, thanks for creating Zendaya: Behind the Scenes!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It would be great if you could clarify the sentence that says "The video contains still manages to make time for her fans" and make it grammatical.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hi. I have reverted your edits to the Rachel Stevens discography because you re-added material that wasn't referenced with reliable citations. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Radio Disney Music Awards, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Usher and Cheetah Girls (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hilary Duff discography

[edit]

Refrain from reverting to a revision which needs updates and corrections. Everything currently is well sourced including albums and singles peaks for the UK. Also, I have updated sources for Japan's and Canada's certifications. If you have other concerns, feel free to discuss them at Talk:Hilary Duff discography, but do not revert a well organized revision to an older one which needed work.--Harout72 (talk) 15:13, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

forging citations

[edit]

Your use of bad citations is getting ridiculous. This forged citation, where you provide an archive of the chartbusters.it blog and falsely claim that it is a citation to the Musica e Dischi site, is a near perfect copy of this forged citation. I don't know where the root of this problem but I do know this: the next time I see you inserting a false or forged citation, you will be blocked. Again. I've tolerated your resumption of editing despite the long-ago block on your User:Ingrid Rodrigues account, but this kind of intentional bad edit leaves me uninclined to continue to turn a blind eye.—Kww(talk) 03:24, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot copy a reference from one article to another without checking it out yourself. Providing a citation is a statement from you that you have checked things out. There's no way you can claim that you accidentally posted a cite to a fan forum and just wrote that it was from an official music site without it being your fault. Reporting an administrator for giving you a warning probably won't get you very far. You get a lot of warnings from me because you male a lot of bad edits without ever quite crossing into vandalism. I'm done though. Like I said, one more case of that kind of behaviour, and your block will be reinstated.—Kww(talk) 03:57, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for block evasion. User was originally blocked as User:Ingrid Rodrigues and has been evading that block for some time. The Ingrid Rodrigues account was blocked for constant use of bad charts and dubious citations, and the level of problem that "Stephanie J Stone" has with the same issues means that this cannot fall under WP:CLEANSTART. The last edit after warning was this, which used a fansite about Bridgit Mendler to add information to an article about Olivia Holt. Not only has the editor been warned several times about blogs and fansites, this time she couldn't even manage to insert something that the fansite actually said.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

This is absurd. I've always been a great publisher. Sometimes used unknown sources, but no one told me anything, right and wrong. I have years of editions and I did a lot of the good articles. People vandalized truthful information I published lately. And I don't know who is Ingrid Rodrigues. Computers are sold. Unblock me

Decline reason:

As far as I can tell, you're either evading a block on your other account, or not competent enough to avoid the disruptive editing that Ingrid Rodrigues was blocked for and that you've been warned about multiple times above. Either way, unblocking you is a no win for the encyclopedia. Danger High voltage! 18:30, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I can't deny this unblock since I'm the blocking admin, but for this user to claim she has never been warned is absurd, as a quick scan of this talk page shows. She edits from the same IP range as Ingrid Rodrigues (see the autoblock problems above: the bug was that the autoblock was reasserted, not that it got the IP addresses wrong). The overlap of the two editors on Spice Girls related topics pretty compelling, especially when you combine it with such varied topics as Lindsay Lohan, Kelly Key, and Tin Tin Out. The sockpuppeting business has continued recently with User:Sarah Marie T., whose first edit was to add a complex citation to Ready or Not (Bridgit Mendler song) a couple of hours after I warned Stephanie J Stone about dubious citations to Bridgit Mendler articles. Given Ingrid's Brazilian background, it's not surprising that Sarah Marie T. is also interested in the Portuguese popularity of Brigit Mendler.—Kww(talk) 18:21, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have good posts and I am here for years. I get confused with links, but I apologize. I am a good editor, see my publications (Debby Ryan, Bridgit Mendler, Zendaya, Blue band, Rachel Stevens)

The evidence posted by the blocking admin is pretty compelling. Not that you addresses it one bit. Notice

The file File:16 Wishes soundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free movie album cover being used in WP:DECORATIVE manner in 16 Wishes#Soundtrack. Non-free cover art for movie soundtrack albums can be used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox or at the top of stand-alone articles about album in question, but they are pretty much never allowed to be used in subsections of articles about the corresponding film per WP:NFCC#8, WP:NFC#cite_note-3 or WP:FILMSCORE, unless the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary to provide the context required for non-free use. That's not the case with this file, so there's no way to justify its non-free use per WP:NFCCP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:33, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Alice Upside Down soundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Alice Upside Down#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE
