Baltimore bus beating
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Baltimore bus beating, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Baltimore bus beating. Hmmm. Maybe this would be better in the wikinews section then?
Staszu13 (talk) 20:32, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Question: how come that article is being considered for deletion and something like the Omaha incident is not?
Staszu13 (talk) 18:06, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- There is another article on this subject being considered for AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sarah Kreager; yours is a better title--there was no reason for the name of the victim to be the title, per BLP. DGG (talk) 21:34, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- True. I am a bit worried nothing may come of this story though. Staszu13 (talk) 15:39, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of local children's television series (United States)
[edit]An editor has nominated List of local children's television series (United States), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of local children's television series (United States) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:31, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Baltimore bus beating article
[edit]I have proposed the article you created, Baltimore bus beating for deletion following a recommendation by someone else, but I actually support keeping the information contained within this article, but merging it into one or more other articles. Some of these may include Route 27 (MTA Maryland), Route 15 (MTA Maryland), Maryland Transit Administration, or a new page generally about crime on the MTA Maryland system not limited to a single incident. I very much encourage you to participate in the AFD discussion.Sebwite (talk) 02:53, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of The Dropouts
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Dropouts, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Copyright problem: Gigot (film)
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Gigot (film), but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.wyoptv.org/programming/viewprogram.php?id=1419&aid=2053, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under allowance license, then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Gigot (film) and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted ''under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), versions 1.3 or later and Creative Commons Share Alike (CC-BY-SA), versions 3.0 or later, under CC-BY-SA, versions 3.0 or later, or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Gigot (film) with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL and CC-BY-SA, and note that you have done so on Talk:Gigot (film). See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Gigot (film) saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! 207.244.190.206 (talk) 02:20, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't believe this! It looks to me more like Wyoming PBS just ripped off the article to me! If you look at the date, and compare that with the editing history, you'll see that the air date on Gigot was July 18, and the editing history of the article extends far before that date.
- However, I will do a new synopsis, just let it be known that I am no thief, but Wyoming PBS might be.
Staszu13 (talk) 19:17, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Although I've left a note at the article's talk, as the administrator closing the listing, I just wanted to come by and state for the record that I agree that Wyoming PBS took the content from Wikipedia. The article's talk page indicates why. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:41, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Rock Savage deletion proposal
[edit]You've posted several edits to the Count Gore de Vol article, so I'm hoping you may have heard of Rock Savage (film producer). If so, you may wish to add your opinion on the debate over whether the article about Rock Savage should be deleted. Please note that the issue is whether Rock Savage is sufficiently notable, not whether his work is any good. You can help by posting your opinion at: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rock Savage (film producer). Folklore1 (talk) 01:26, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fred Kohler (wrestling promoter), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jim Barnett (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). License tagging for File:Embark.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Embark.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. The article Stevie and Zoya has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No sourcing found outside boilerplate listings in animation directories. Interstitial shorts are rarely notable on their own.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:04, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
