Speedy Delete - A7

Okay, folks. So... this article meets all the criteria for a speedy deletion but one. See, it's an article that doesn't provide much context and definitely doesn't state why the subject is important and belongs in Wikipedia... however it's not about a person, band, or organization. I note that at some point in the past, this article was improperly deleted due to CSD-A7. I agree, the subject doesn't seem to belong in Wikipedia, so... I'm removing the prod tag because a Google Books search indicates that this has been covered by a paper encyclopedia (The World Encyclopedia of Comics), which is a basic indication that it should be covered by Wikipedia. Phil Bridger (talk) 20:38, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion in a specialty encyclopedia doesn't sufficiently indicate notability in my book. I'll review Wikipedia's notability guidelines to confirm and will send to AfD if I find that Wikipedia agrees or is ambiguous. — X S G 10:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
