Fan Wars

A tag has been placed on Fan Wars, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Fan Wars is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Fan Wars saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. TheRealFennShysa 21:01, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I see you have recently created one or more new stub types. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types are proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it is otherwise correctly formatted, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any rationale for this stub type. And please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 02:31, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What do you need help with? (place {{helpme}} back when you answer). -- John Reaves 04:47, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I need to help with TheRealFennShysa to contest the speedy deletion of the article on the open source film I'm currently working on. Starkiller88 04:50, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article, as it stands reposted, has not been listed for speedy deletion yet. I have started an articles for deletion discussion about the article where you can voice your opinion about the article's proposed deletion along with the views of other contributors. --NickContact/Contribs 06:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Astro Shaw, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.astroplc.com/05/astro/our_brands/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Emmy Rossum, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. --Yamla 15:43, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

You have been blocked for your continued insertion of original research after numerous warnings. --Yamla 17:58, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really very sorry about this. I wish that, if there is original research, I would like to remove them. But I do not want to continue to insert anymore original research, as Wikipedia does not permit. Where should I do original research? --Starkiller88 18:09, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You can do original research on a blog or a personal web page. Please see WP:NOT. --Yamla 18:22, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know, then. By next day, I will be heeding to these warnings and I will not become a pest in the future. --Starkiller88 18:24, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

You were told time and time again that you cannot add information about Emmy Rossum looking for more "intimate" films without a reliable citation. You deliberately violated WP:NOR and have now been blocked for one week. --Yamla 20:10, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'm sorry, Yamla. I do not want to violate WP:NOR further. I'll try to find a reliable citation to it. Starkiller88 12:49, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Because I've already read WP:NOR, which states unpublished facts, arguments, concepts, statements, or theories are not allowed on Wikipedia unless a reliable citation is provided, many times in the past.

Decline reason:

But do you fully understand WP:NOR? You were warned about inserting original research into articles previously, but you persisted. Wait out the block; feel free to edit once the block expires, but only if you abide by policies. --Kinu t/c 04:00, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So why are you continuing to insert original research into articles? When you have been told repeatedly not to insert that particular piece of original research? --Yamla 03:58, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Because last time there is a fact that Emmy Rossum is looking for more intimate films in the future, and she currently has no roles, but until 2008 where she is signed on to act in three films. Last time, about several months ago. Starkiller88 04:15, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You have no source for that, do you? --Kinu t/c 12:15, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Starkiller88, that information requires a source. You have been told this over and over and over again. Stop trolling. --Yamla 14:09, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I did not troll as of now. Starkiller88 16:37, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Apophis

Hello, I'd like to talk about the creation of the article about my open source/free software game Apophis, which is in development. Over the past few months, my article is subject to deletions, one of the reasons is blatant advertising, I would like to avoid. The project has since registered on the SourceForge.net page on June 30, 2007, and right now, the game is developed on the Axiom Engine, and is licensed under a GNU General Public License. Can you help me re-create this, so that it cannot consider spam, Wikipedia's deletion policy, as well as speedy deletion policies. Apophis is a Greek name of the ancient Egyptian enemy of Ra: Apep, the Uncreator, a serpent that dwells in the eternal darkness of the Duat (underworld) and tries to swallow Ra during His nightly passage. Apep is held at bay by Set, the Ancient Egyptian god of Chaos, one of the major plot elements of the game. I also know the plot, setting, and gameplay mechanics in Apophis are similar to Crysis. The temporary article on the open source game is created until a primary, reliable cited source that establishes its notability is found. Starkiller88 11:33, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

You have continued to insert false information into Emmy Rossum despite numerous warnings. Most recently, this where you claim she has dropped her acting career. In fact, the citation clearly states that she has absolutely not dropped her acting career, she has just temporarily dropped out of the film scene. This is entirely different and you have been told this over and over again. You may contest this block using the {{unblock|your reason here}} template if you believe the block was invalid. Request reason:

I strongly believe the block was invalid, because I didn't insert false information, but I added the correct information about Emmy's taking a break from acting, with a same reliable, verifiable source that explains Emmy Rossum has signed on for four more films, and there is one point at the USA Today interview, after The Phantom of the Opera, she shifted gears from movies to music because she prefers a more organic approach.

Decline reason:

Sorry, but I have reviewed the block and the situation surrounding it I feel that this block is justified. The block stands — nat.utoronto 18:39, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You falsely claimed she "drops her acting career". The citation explicitly states that this is not the case. "Q: So film is in your past? A: Oh no. I've signed on for three." Not only has she explicitly not dropped her acting career, she has only taken a temporary break from films. --Yamla (talk) 17:56, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly feel this block on me is invalid. Although Starkiller88 states, "I didn't claim Emmy Rossum has dropped her acting career", he actually did. See here where he specifically states, "she drops her acting career". --Yamla (talk) 18:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This point seems pretty subtle to me. I see that it is inaccurate to say that she "dropped her acting career," but at the same time the USA Today piece does talk about whether or not she has dropped acting and seems to come down overall on the side of that she did, at least temporarily. The statement Starkiller88 added may have been incorrectly worded, but I have a hard time not seeing this as an honest mistake, or just poor writing. Mangojuicetalk 18:41, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
See Talk:Emmy Rossum. This editor has been warned about this over and over and over and over again. The first few times this happened, we just engaged in discussion. But Starkiller88 has continued to insert this false information even though he knows it is absolutely not true. He has been blocked repeatedly. A block for a first offense of this nature would be absolutely inappropriate. When it has been going on for weeks, I think the block is appropriate. --Yamla (talk) 18:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is my block over as of now? Instead of adding false info on Emmy Rossum, can I try out the sandbox instead? --Starkiller88 (talk) 10:31, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Scarlett Sperduto

A tag has been placed on Scarlett Sperduto requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. CalendarWatcher (talk) 11:29, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Sculptor Superclusters

A tag has been placed on Sculptor Superclusters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Catherine Rothberg

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Catherine Rothberg, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Very minor character. No context. No notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. A tag has been placed on Commercial replacement, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Azlan Othman. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks!

The article Azlan Othman has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. NW (Talk) 04:15, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 20:52, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summaries

Hi. You seem to have created the article Crayon (film) with content copied from the official website. While it may seem natural to presume that you can copy plot summaries, you can't. The filmmakers may well be delighted to have their film advertised, but that doesn't mean that they would be happy to have their plot description released without permission for commercial reuse and incorporation into derivative works. Unless you get and verify permission from them, you have to compose plot summaries in your own words.

Somebody later added quotation marks to the plot summary you seem to have copied and pasted, but I'm afraid that just created a violation of our non-free content probibition on extensive quotations. Brief quotations are acceptable for good reasons such as those set out there, but we cannot copy long runs of text from non-free sources.

The plot summary has been removed. A new one can certainly be added, in your own language. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on ZiOSS Films requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The article Azlan Othman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claims of notabilty outside of his job, which seems unremarkable. Source makes no special claims about the individual, just speaks to him as a representative of the company.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Howie scream, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Howie scream and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Samurai & Megaforce

Do not add unsourced trivia to any of the Power Rangers Samurai pages. It is not necessary to state that the cockpit scenes were original to the American production, or that they are sing the Japanese version's villain.

Also, do not add anything, not even hidden content that even remotely refers to a series to exist after the Super Samurai season. On these types of pages, we have decided that commenting out large swaths of content just because we have no reliable source for them currently is entirely unprofessional. We will add the information when it becomes available to the general public.—Ryulong (竜龙) 21:52, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fobos-Grunt 2

Though the project Fobos-Grunt 2 appears to be suspended due to Russia's participation in ExoMars, there are some indications that it may continue, according to Lev Zelenyi, head of Russia Space Research Institute. However, Green reiterated that participation in the European project does not preclude the recurrence of attempts to carry out a mission to Phobos. "Project ExoMars, it's still a European project with Russian participation. ExoMars cooperation is in our interests, and Russian experts have suggested that European colleagues and scientific experiments, and original technical solutions. But this does not mean we should abandon on our national project of the expedition to Mars and its moon - Phobos," said Zelenyi. 115.133.209.199 (talk) 06:55, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Key words: "may continue, according to Lev Zelenyi". A lot of people hope it may continue, but Roscosmos decition is not so. Live with it. So please stop your misinformation campaign, Mr. Starkiller88. You have a very long history of inserting your POV in multiple articles and have earned a few blocks. Even you can realize that if you spend this much time in Wikipedia inserting info that won't stick, you might as well write about documented and verifiable facts. Cheers, BatteryIncluded (talk) 12:58, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
BatteryIncluded, I am sorry for all of these misinformation started since January. Now I know Fobos-Grunt will not be repeated, as I have forseen two months ago, primarily by catching up news updates. Lev Zelenyi said IKI doesn't believe that ExoMars work canceled Fobos-Grunt-2 and he added that the future of this project thus far was suspended. Fobos-Grunt-2 didn't make it on paper. Roscosmos dropped it for good. Don't start an ANI on me. 115.133.212.104 (talk) 11:33, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is all very smple. Please moderate your edits according to Wikipedia's standards (eg: WP:Verifiability), that includes: NOT inserting your point of view/asumptions ahead of references that do not support it; and please stop deleting references.
By the way, will you fix the Fobos-Grunt 2 article accordingly or support its deletion? Thank you. BatteryIncluded (talk) 14:52, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is interesting that you admit your error, yet at the same time you create and keep expanding the Fobos-Grunt 2 article, where you are twisting and torturing the references to assert the opposite. What you need is to create a personal blog with low verifiability standards; please consider that. BatteryIncluded (talk) 17:47, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Mars-Grunt is NOT a repeat (simple or complex) of Fobos-Grunt. Fobos-Grunt FAILED, BURNED, CRASHED AND THE MISSION WILL NOT BE REPEATED IN ANY FASHION OR NAME. Get it in your skull and live with it. Then please stop your misinformation campaign. It seems you are in a crusade to redeem your national pride and I appreciate it, and you better express your opinions in a personal blog and not in this neutral encyclopedia. Cheers, BatteryIncluded (talk) 14:13, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I get it. But what about the Fobos-Grunt project website, given that Fobos-Grunt FAILED, BURNED, CRASHED AND THE MISSION WILL NOT BE REPEATED IN ANY FASHION OR NAME? Starkiller88 (talk) 15:30, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

April 2012

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Fobos-Grunt. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. W. D. Graham 06:53, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Starkiller88, some of your edits are good, such as this one in Lavochkin (the claim is sourced and the source supports the claim), but several of your other edits use unreliable sources such as pastebin, or no sources at all, and you appear to be re-inserting the same unsourced or poorly sourced material. Please try to avoid the bad edits and do more of the good edits. Please also use edit summaries and correctly describe what your edit changes, otherwise it is difficult to determine and check what is changed. Please also read and understand the notes I leave in the edit summaries when I revert your poorer edits. -84user (talk) 09:16, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I got it. I'm not a paranoid person. I started Anonymous "Operation Fobos-Gone" (@Op_PhobosGone) on Twitter and (on paper.li) because of the fact that Fobos-Grunt FAILED, BURNED, CRASHED (NOT RECOVERED) AND THE MISSION WILL NOT BE REPEATED IN ANY FASHION OR NAME (EVER), and I am a member of The Planetary Society distraught over the loss of Phobos LIFE, which may led to LIFE being abandoned and the team behind it disbanded. The project website of Fobos-Grunt is still online despite after these events, and it is likely to exist forever as it is a junk of IKI's web servers. Starkiller88 (talk) 12:24, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I won't. As long as I stick to the rules of Wikipedia. Please do not be bad to me. Starkiller88 (talk) 16:18, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Now I know there will be NO attempt to repeat the Fobos-Grunt mission or any other future Phobos sample return. I knew that earler before March 15. You have to know that. I'll start with ExoMars. Request reason:

Because I'm distraught by the crash of Phobos-Grunt. "Initially, he seems to have been insistent on adding claims that the Fobos-Grunt mission would not be repeated, and that it's project team had been disbanded, based on speculation that Russia was about to join the European ExoMars programme. After a while, this effectively came to pass, so he started taking the opposite position."

It is because 84user removed the cites on Russia joining ExoMars that make zero mention of Fobos-Grunt.

All accounts on Blogspot, Twitter and Youtube, along with the Gmail account have been deleted and erased. I think I forget the 5 pillars of Wikipedia. I should have read it before doing then. I don't want to become disruptive, adding unreferenced, speculative and false information in the future. Once I get unblocked, I'll use my sandbox to experiment. Please, set my block expiry date.

Decline reason:

ExoMars

I've just begun planning to contribute to ExoMars, doing the same as I did on the Living Interplanetary Flight Experiment article: adding something coherent with constructive edits, properly reliable sourced. This is not an editing about the Fobos-Grunt mission in any way. Starkiller88 (talk) 14:35, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your block was lifted 5 seconds ago and you are back at it?! For the nth time: in Wikipedia it matters NOTHING what you speculate here [1] (WP:SPECULATION). Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for Personal attacks and general disruption. See WP:WQA and WP:ANI. Dennis Brown - © 19:06, 23 June 2012 (UTC). If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I'm sorry for personal attacks and general disruption. I am sorry for my disruptive behavior. I am going to accept a conditional ban that I don't edit user and user talk pages of BatteryIncluded. Starkiller88 (talk) 19:47, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I don't know what the problem is, but it goes deeper than just one topic and just one editor's user/talk pages. Whatever the reason behind your strangely obsessive behaviour, I just don't believe that you are capable of contributing in a collaborative manner at this time. Sorry. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:19, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I've just said I'm sorry for personal attacks and general disruption. I am definitely going to control myself and shut myself about it. Please take a note of this. Starkiller88 (talk) 20:19, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The problem is that I can't control myself, it is because of Fobos-Grunt. I can't stop it. Now I'm going to stop it at all. I am definitely going to control myself and shut. Starkiller88 (talk) 20:34, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

"I can't control myself" seems like quite the understatement in this case. Given that this has been a pattern going back to 2007, I don't exactly have much reason to believe your behaviour will improve today, next week, next month, or next year. • You've indicated that you can't control yourself, and I believe you. I've removed your ability to edit your talk page. It isn't personal, but it appears Wikipedia isn't the proper environment for you, as a degree of self-control is required to not be a disruptive force on the community as whole. Dennis Brown - © 20:37, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • For anyone considering this, I've just had another read over this whole talk page, and I see exactly the same problems have been resurfacing since 2007! For example, Starkiller88 started out adding unsourced information to articles in September 2007, and ignored warnings to stop until blocked, then carried on, then got blocked again... And the same problem with unsourced additions has just kept going, through warnings and blocks, all the way to that absurd Fobos-Grunt episode, and then again even after that block was lifted. If an editor cannot learn and accept the simple concept of not adding unsourced material, original research, or personal opinions after nearly five years of being told, then, even with all the AGF in the world, we at least have a degree of incompetence that appears impossible to rectify. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:59, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

Get well soon.

Update

For anyone reviewing this account, Starkiller88 has gone straight back to editing Fobos-Grunt while logged out - see these edits. We can be pretty confident that IP is him, as he self-identified with another IP in the same range on my Talk page, with this edit. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:24, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request

Starkiller88 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I felt that I had enough of this indef block of Starkiller88. I am blocked because of personal attacks and general disruption as well as long-term abuse, and recently block evasion. I do not want to do that again because I can control my obsessive behavior required for self-control and my behavior is expected to improve tomorrow. Here is the constructive edits on TeaMp0isoN[3] and LulzSec[4]. 115.133.223.90 (talk) 05:02, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline, as you are not allowed to make further unblock requests on this page, certainly not by evading your block to do so - see below -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:02, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IP block evasion

Starkiller88, you are not allowed to edit this page, which means that you, the person, are prohibited from editing here, not just the Starkiller88 account. The reason is that the admins who have reviewed your action do not believe that you can control yourself and resist doing the things that you are forbidden from doing - and you proved that only yesterday by editing Fobos-Grunt while logged out, in defiance not only of your block, but also your topic ban.

You are not allowed to request further unblocks on this page, or in fact edit here at all, and that includes while logged out - I have removed your logged-out unblock request retained and procedurally declined your unblock request, as I think it is best kept visible as evidence of the problem, and I have semi-protected this page to stop you editing here. Also, Fobos-Grunt has been semi-protected to keep you away from it, as I expect you have already discovered.

The admins who have reviewed your case have determined that your problematic behaviour, which includes your inability to follow Wikipedia's requirements for sourced NPOV material, and more recently your apparently uncontrollable obsession with Fobos-Grunt, has been going on for 5 years, yet you still show no willingness or ability to stop. We have therefore been forced to conclude that you are not a suitable person to be editing Wikipedia.

If you wish to dispute the admin decision here, your only avenue of appeal is to WP:BASC. But I honestly can't see Arbcom overturning the admin decision here, as your behaviour since your block has made it abundantly clear that we were right. What I recommend is that you find an alternative outlet somewhere for your online enthusiasm, or even spend some time enjoying the real world that's out there. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:51, 28 June 2012 (UTC) (Changed my action on the unblock request -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:02, 28 June 2012 (UTC))[reply]

A tag has been placed on Astro B.yond, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Nomination for deletion of Template:HD 85512

Template:HD 85512 has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the entry on the Templates for discussion page.

Notice

The article Rough Crossing (TV series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

All hits are just directory listings or Wikipedia mirrors. Actors and production company are all redlinks. For a show that aired for eight years, I can't find a single trace of it online, leading me to suggest this may be an elaborate WP:HOAX

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 23:30, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Rough Crossing (TV series), is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
