SPIRE Institute moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, SPIRE Institute, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. SPIRE Institute and Academy moved to draftspace

[edit]

It appears that you may have a conflict of interest with the subject of SPIRE Institute and Academy, and as such you should submit this article to be published through the Articles for Creation process. Before editing the article further, please first disclose on your user page and on the article's Talk page whether you have received money to write this or other articles on Wikipedia, or if you have any other kind of conflict of interest concerning the subject. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Before submitting, you should make sure that the article is fully compliant with Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability policies, as well as our notability guidelines. As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to SPIRE Institute and Academy, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:StarAthlete04, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=StarAthlete04|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. signed, Rosguill talk 20:54, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Again, there is no financial compensation, I just find it rediculous that my first article I created has not been approved even when it is very notable, and very credible. StarAthlete04 (talk) 21:05, 5 February 2021 (UTC) Rosguill[reply]

We've seen paid promotional editing on the article in the past, hence the heightened scrutiny. Please also note that notability on Wikipedia has a specific meaning and is a measurement of the amount of coverage in reliable, independent sources; it is not a synonym for important or significant, and arguments that are predicated on its importance rather than on the existence of coverage are unlikely to sway other editors. signed, Rosguill talk 21:08, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It meets significant coverage from reliable sources, and i am not getting compensated in any fashion. No original research is needed to see that this company has a very rare distinction and has employed/has significant alum such as lamelo ball. As such, this company is similar to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMG_Academy IMG academy has fewer reliable sources and lacks notability. The redirect should be removed. StarAthlete04 (talk) 21:14, 5 February 2021 (UTC) Rosguill[reply]

Given the past disruption involving the article (not by you), you should submit a draft through the articles for creation process. I would also recommend identifying the three best notability-establishing sources on the talk page, as the last version of the article that I saw was suffering from a case of WP:CITEBOMB. As a side note, if you want to attract my attention, writing {{ping|Rosguill}} is more effective than copying my user name. signed, Rosguill talk 21:18, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you move it to a draft with the content before the redirect? I can't figure out how {{ping|Rosguill}} StarAthlete04 (talk) 21:19, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

StarAthlete04, done, and don't include the nowiki tags when using the ping template. signed, Rosguill talk 21:24, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
