[edit]Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Sorry, that was not my intention. I will use the discussion page. I just wanted to correct a objecitvely wrong family name. StTropez83 (talk) 06:20, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- Don't worry, it happens. Let me know if you want help starting that discussion. You are always welcome to ping me with questions about Wikipedia or reach out for tips on the WP:Teahouse page. Since you're new, I'll add that you are permitted to remove warnings from your talk page if you are worried about appearances. It's not easy starting out. ~ Pbritti (talk) 07:17, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for your understanding and patience. I usually avoid doing the same change twice if it got reverted by another user. I must have thought I didn't have corrected it before because I also corrected it in different other pages/languages. I added a longer comment about his legal, civil name in Germany (and since noble titles do not exist anymore in Germany this is the only relevant thing in my opinion, he is just a German civilian with noble ancestors and hence has a funny name, that's all). Usually names are not translated (otherwise there would be Stephanie Earl instead of Steffi Graf on en:WP ;-)) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Heinrich_Reuss#Requested_move_7_December_2022#Name StTropez83 (talk) 16:35, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- Glad you commented. Since this is in the news right now, I'm certain other editors will gladly engage with you. If you ever have a question or request that a non-admin can fulfill, my talk page is always open. Hope to see you around more! ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:56, 8 December 2022 (UTC)

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Heinrich Reuss. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.--Grnrchst (talk) 15:03, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Naming conventions for civilians state that there legal, civil name is used as long as they are not publicly known under another name. So the only thing is: yes, we can wait until the discussion is finished and afterwards move it to his real, legal, civil name. ;-) StTropez83 (talk) 15:07, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Josefine Koebe moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Josefine Koebe. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:56, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- How should anyone provide more sources about a newly elected MP? There is no more than the official CV and it is neither promotional nor an ad but extremly neutral. It just lists the educational and professional steps in the CV – nothing more. Of course we can wait until the parliament publishes the same CV on their site and then republish it. ;-) StTropez83 (talk) 21:08, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
