Regards. I added several sources, can you verify them?? Thanks Bnotepr (talk) 03:48, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
Why small=yes?
In your edit of 19:10, 14 October 2014 of Romelu Lukaku, you added {{pp-pc1|small=yes}} at the top. Given that template pp-pc1 defaults to small=yes, what is the purpose of adding small=yes? I'll look for a response here. Respectfully, Anomalocaris (talk) 07:45, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

07:06:09, 5 August 2015 review of submission by Marco Böhlandt
Hello reviewer,
I am slightly puzzled that my draft for the entry on "hearables" has been declined once again due to the "advertising character" of the article. Since hearables represent a rather new technology, there are as yet no book references on the subject, most information on the matter is only found online. All current developers knwon to work on hearables have been named. Furthermore the article is, in my view, not fundamentally different to the entry in the French wikipedia (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearables). I would be very grateful if you could give me a more detailed feedback on the shortcomings of my draft.
Thank you in advance,
Marco

- Hello Marco. This article was previously reviewed by another review on 30th July 2015 and I reviewed the article history and you haven't done much to address the issue at hand. There are a few issues with the article, and I really don't mean to be negative, I'm helping you create the article to ensure that the article, if published, does not be deleted (whether speedily or through AfD).
- Firstly, to address the issue at hand, is the problem of advertising language in the article. For example: 'Hearables are intended for....' - this seems like advertising. Wikipedia must be strictly neutral and advertising is prohibited. An article with advertising will be swiftly deleted. The reason I mentioned this is because this quote isn't backed up with a reference, which is absolutely key for a good article. Furthermore, the article talks about the benefits of Hearables - this really shouldn't be in an encyclopaedia. The features, of course, should be mentioned but the language should be adjusted to ensure that it isn't promotional.
- The article also talks about the 'great cooperation' between two groups. This contradicts WP:PEACOCK. You should also try and avoid using weasel words (WP:WEASEL).
- The notability of Hearables can be questioned. If this was taken to a AfD discussion, it is quite likely that this article would be deleted too. You say that it represents a rather new technology - but you need to explain what it has done to warrant an entry on Wikipedia. You really need to improve on the sources, which are expected to be secondary and reliable. Any claim that is not backed up should be removed.
- I understand that the French wikipedia entry has some issues. I personally don't speak French, and therefore I'm not able to contribute on the French site, but if you address these issues then it will help to ensure that your article will not be deleted. I understand that it can be frustrating for your article to have been rejected, but we really are here to help you create the best article you can for this encyclopaedia. st170etalk 21:23, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
Request on 14:32:28, 6 August 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by ErikNatuurkunde
Dear editor,
After the first rejection I have added reliable (at least in my opinion) sources to the facts that are present. Also I changed my username. I thought this would address both reasons for rejection.
However, now I received a second rejection, again with the reason of insufficient references.
Could you please help me by telling me what other parts of the text you'd like to see supported by sources? Or are my current sources not reliable enough?
Many thanks, Erik
ErikNatuurkunde (talk) 14:32, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Erik, I rejected your article because of the lack of sources. For a Wikipedia article to be approved, it needs to have a wealth of sources. Sources need to be from different places. References 4, 5, 6 and 7 are from the same place; as are 2 and 3. References 1 and 8 are primary sources. Sources need to be secondary and you need to get as many as you can. Ideally, you should try and get a source for every claim in your article. For example:
- 'This section conducts research on.....' - provide a source for this, otherwise, how would we be able to verify this?
- I have no doubt that your article will be approved when you address this small issue. st170etalk 14:37, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

Sosorrycartoon (talk) 19:32, 9 August 2015 (UTC) Hi Safebust, please help me identify the peacock terms or feel free to remove the same yourself. I am new to wiki and need help in this article submission.
- Wikipedia articles must be neutral and must have a neutral tone. Phrases like 'characterised in a hilarious manner' should not be used and should be removed. You must not promote the cartoon at any point in your article. st170etalk 13:39, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

I think Stuart Styron is notable and he got secondary, independent and reliable sources, which are there then why it was not accepted.
Hollenderek (talk) 07:55, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hi there, I have no doubt he is in some way notable, but you must prove this. If he is simply a musician who has produced albums, anyone can do that, but not everyone can have a Wikipedia page. You need to explain if he (for example) was in the charts or did something notable, that is worth putting on Wikipedia. This might be disheartening having your article rejected, but by having it rejected, it will ensure that the article is improved upon so that it won't be deleted in the future. You need a wealth of sources for a living person, and to prove notability. You can resubmit the article and another reviewer will review it whenever the issues are addressed. st170etalk 15:16, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
