Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Spursnik! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 15:24, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Final warning before indef block

[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:42, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may place {{unblock}} on your user talk page to have the block reviewed. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia.

Block message:

Using Wikipedia for spam or advertising purposes

Decline reason: You have been blocked directly as stated in your block log. Since you have not provided a reason for being unblocked, your request has been declined. You may provide a reason for being unblocked by adding {{unblock | your reason here}} to the bottom of your talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

Dear Wiki. I have been blocked. I am new to the site and didn’t realize there is a limit to the amount you can edit. On no occasion did I spam or advertise anything inappropriate. Every link I made was of historical or relevant significance to the page in question. I understand now that you cannot do this on more than a few pages and will not be doing it again. I would be most grateful if you could unblock me. Kind regards.

Decline reason:

Since your only interest at Wikipedia is adding links to this web site, you meet Wikipedia's definition of a spammer, regardless of the merits of the site. At Wikipedia, we all avoid making links to our own web sites- after all, if it is truly the best source of information available, other users will inevitably cite it when improving articles. Since you're indicating that, at the present time, you are not interested in making any edits other than links to your web sites, you don't need an account right now, but if you ever become interested in helping to write the encyclopedia in other ways, please feel free to ask again. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
