I would like to talk about my visit with my mother today. The Bible speaks about honoring your parents.my mother has been in a convalescent home for 3 yrs.now and I've tried to visit once a week. She had two strokes and a heart attack which have rendered her unable to walk. Also she is living in the past, think many of our family members who have been long dead are still alive. But she can remember what we talked about last week.My mother was on a drug program from 1979 that kept her out of prison and away from heroin, but she was on 185 mg.when she had all these medical problems she ended up in the hospital for awhile and then in the convalescent home where they had no understanding of the adverse affects of methadone and how long they lasted. My mother almost died, and went through torment like I had never seen and all I would hear was shes not on drugs anymore she does not need it.They were ignorant of what she had to suffer for a year and a half. Its my desire to fight for others that might fall into the same situation. From the desk of Freddie A.Rosales!
