[edit]Hello, I'm Riverbend21. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Wallenberg family seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Riverbend21 (talk) 07:53, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello SpiritualMammser! Your additions to Wallenberg family have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:31, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wallenberg family, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Astra. [edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Wallenberg family did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Wallenberg family. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Jay D. Easy (t) 19:56, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Wallenberg family, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Jay D. Easy (t) 00:37, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Wallenberg family, you may be blocked from editing. Jay D. Easy (t) 12:48, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- I suggest you don't waltz in like a fascist dictator with the aim of setting your own subjective standards and ordering people to follow those, and on top of that putting the person who has contributed significantly to the page with objective scholar information under the category "close connections", and last but not least, threatening to block the user because X user refuses to obey X person's subjective standards, a person who has never contributed to the article.
- Please, answer me, when did it become a transgression to be informed and distribute that information. Isn't that what Wikipedia is all about? Or should Wikipedia remove those people that contribute too much to an article even though the information is correct? Do Wikipedia-people rather prefer little to no information at all? SpiritualMammser (talk) 16:24, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ok – firstly I hope you realize these messages are automated, right? I pick the same issue and only increase the level of cautioning each time. It's not me writing these personally and threatening to block you.
- Secondly, what you fail to realize is that my issue is not necessarily with you removing the conflict of interest template itself, but that you also persistently keep removing the other maintenance templates messages, all of which address valid issues with the article if you ask me. (I admit that perhaps three instead four maintenance templates would have been sufficient too.)
- Lastly, I would have dropped the issue of conflict of interest like that if you'd have just engaged in conversation on the article's talk page. However your obstinance in continually removing the template suggests that its initial inclusion perhaps wasn't entirely unwarranted? More to the point: if there is truly no conflict of interest why not let things run its course? Because how you've been handling this up until now only opens you up to further scrutiny. Jay D. Easy (t) 15:09, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Wallenberg family. Jay D. Easy (t) 14:49, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 01:36, 26 July 2023 (UTC)- You need to communicate with other users when they have concerns about your edits. There have been two threads about your editing, at WP:ANI and WP:COIN, but you have not participated in either of those discussions. You have never used a talk page, and have made a total of one edit to your user talk page. Additionally, there are concerns that you are abusing multiple accounts (for example, SMamzer and SpiritualMamzer). If you wish to be unblocked, you must address each of these issues. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 01:41, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
