Proposed deletion of Shoot To Kill (DS Mixtape)
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Shoot To Kill (DS Mixtape), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable mixtape with little or nothing in the way of substantial media coverage. Fails WP:MUSIC#Albums.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. [edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edit(s) to Mean Girls, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. There is no need to link the same name three times in an infobox. Chris Nolan is one person three bluelinks are of no use. Stop the overlinking. Darrenhusted (talk) 20:58, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
re: Chicago Tribune Building
[edit]Thank you for your comment on the Tribune Tower. Your story is interesting and plausible — however, "what a security guard told me" is original research, and is not a verifiable statement published in a reliable source. If you could review those policies and find such a source, I would gladly leave this item in the article; but as it is, we have no way of knowing that you're not (unwittingly or otherwise) propagating an urban myth. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Tribune Tower, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Kevin Forsyth (talk) 17:23, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Please note that by continuing to insert this information without responding to my multiple requests for a reliable source, you are at risk of violating Wikipedia policy regarding edit warring. As I cannot revert your edit at this time without violating WP:3RR myself, it will stand for now, but in the meantime I will move this discussion to the Tribune Tower talk page for consensus-building. Please respond there. Kevin Forsyth (talk) 17:50, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]That is funny man. I checked your page for a while to see if you fixed it, and I guess it snuck past you. I saw your page after an edit we made on the same article and I couldn't resist the temptation. On a more serious note though, the Phillies are who scares me the most about playing my Cards in the playoffs. No hard feelings though. Just goofin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Backvoods (talk • contribs) 21:57, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Is there a reason that you are edit-warring over the location of an image? I've provided a rationale as to why I moved the image and you moved it back without discussing on the talk or providing an edit summary. The image's location looks horrible because the text looks discontinuous if you put an left-aligned image right under the level-2 header with very little text under it. MOS:IMAGE might help here. — KV5 • Talk • 20:18, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, just because you added the images doesn't give you never-ending rights to say where they go. We are all here to build an encyclopedia, and I made improvements to the locations of the images with an edit summary explaining why. You didn't seem to have any response other than undoing my revisions. Please assume good faith when others are trying to make improvements rather than simply reverting. Thanks. — KV5 • Talk • 23:34, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- You still have not provided a rationale for moving those pictures besides "it looks better". I've directed you to sitewide guidelines that explain my moves. I'm not going to move them again because you obviously don't care about my rationale, but you should know that your edits can be construed as tendentious, since you refuse to discuss and instead just continue to revert without rationale. Simply because "adding pictures takes time": that does not, under any circumstances, give you absolute authority over where the images should be placed. Besides assuming good faith (linked above), you should read WP:OWN; you do not own your image contributions, especially if you've released them into the public domain. I suggest you reconsider this pattern.
- The alterations that I did make this morning should not be reverted. Per MOS:CAP, you absolutely cannot have a period/full stop at the end of an incomplete sentence. Obviously you didn't bother to see that I had made those corrections in line with the Manual of Style before blindly reverting. — KV5 • Talk • 11:35, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- The changes you made to the pictures, which you reverted back in contravention of guidelines, don't have any defensible rationale. There is no guideline that says pictures cannot be extended into the reference section, as you claimed. However, there is a guideline that says: "Avoid sandwiching text between two images that face each other" (MOS:IMAGES). There is absolutely no claim on which you can base "images shouldn't extend into the reference section". You need to discuss going forward on the article talk page. This means do not use edit summaries to discuss. If you have something to say, use the talk page before making any changes. Wait for discussion to occur and then make changes once a policy-based consensus is reached. Please see also WP:BRD. If you continue to refuse to use talk pages for discussion, you may be blocked. — KV5 • Talk • 01:01, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding your proposed compromise, see the article talk page. I'm not reverting you further, but I expect that you would participate in discussion. If you refuse to discuss and just continue to make edits against policy, you might get blocked for it. Fair warning. — KV5 • Talk • 11:37, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- I started a discussion on the article's talk page. Please comment there so the discussion is not fragmented. — KV5 • Talk • 15:40, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- Talk:PPL Park. All articles have a talk page accessible by clicking the "discussion" tag at the top of the page. You should use this page for discussion when making controversial changes to an article, especially when they have previously been reverted. — KV5 • Talk • 15:46, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Brad-Knighton1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Brad-Knighton1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:06, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Photo
[edit]Hey, just FYI; I don't want to get into an edit war about something as stupid as photo placement, but so you know: I didn't right-justify it because it looks better than on the left (or vice-versa) - it has nothing to do with aesthetics, and it's not an WP:ILIKEIT issue. Having the photo justified to the left actually causes paragraph alignment and row alignment errors on my screen, which means that it likely causes paragraph alignment and row alignment errors for other readers too. Maybe you don't see them with whatever screen resolution you have, but I assure you they ARE there, and the photo needs to be on the right in order to cure this. --JonBroxton (talk) 05:54, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. I noticed you changed Kasey Keller's international cap total from 101 to 102 without any revision summary notes. I'm not sure where you got the 102 cap total from.

I am reverting the total back to 101 as per the official international cap list from FIFA. See here: http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/fifafacts/stats-centclub/52/00/59/fifacenturyclubmen.pdf

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
