Nay Moe Naing
Hello how are you? You had asked about WP:GNG and WP:SPORTBASIC criteria regarding the player Nay Moe Naing. In addition to statistical profiles on Soccerway and the National Football Team, I found news in English about the player in the matches against Macau and Japan. Wouldn't that be enough to save the article from elimination? Just to understand better and not cause unnecessary disagreements. Thank you for your attention. Svartner (talk) 21:36, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Svartner: I am well, thanks. Hope all is well with you. SPORTBASIC states sports biographies must include at least one reference to a source providing significant coverage of the subject, excluding database sources. This rule eliminates Soccerway, National Football Teams and all other stats sites. You linked Macao News, which only mentions Nay Moe Naing on one occasion. JFA is only a mention in the squad list. For his article to be kept, we need to have significant coverage. This typically would be multiple paragraphs on him to meet the threshold. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 21:33, 20 November 2023 (UTC)

- Hi Spiderone can you (and any other ladies) please look into the page for Anne-Lot Hoek. There is something fishy going on. The page has been completely redone and now prompted for speedy deletion without explanation on the points fixed etc..
- Kind regards. Ewout12345 (talk) 14:10, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
- It's a recreation of a previously deleted article so the speedy deletion tag is appropriate. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 14:27, 9 December 2023 (UTC)

Request on 23:06:40, 14 December 2023 for assistance on AfC submission by NoahLutz
Hey there, hope you're doing well.
As far as I can tell, you denied the "List of tallest buildings in Flint" because you believe that SkyscraperPage does not contain enough information to compare the heights of buildings - but I'd like to argue that using the heights of buildings is enough to compare the heights of buildings. Additionally, it's worth noting that Grand Rapids, Detroit, Chicago, and New York City's respective tallest building lists all identically use SkyscraperPage and Emporis. If this is not an acceptable usage of these sources, how have these pages been allowed to exist?
NoahLutz (talk) 23:06, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- There's nothing wrong with using SkyscraperPage to verify the heights but that doesn't make it pass WP:GNG. What those articles have is analysis of the heights as a whole and news sources discussing the tall buildings in those cities. You haven't provided any such sources. Not every city and town needs to have a list of tallest buildings, only ones where the heights of the buildings have been discussed at great length in reliable media sources. clichés
I thought "wheat fair complexion" was an unusual cliché.😜 -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 11:11, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Deepfriedokra I must have missed that one as I lost concentration after seeing the usual tell-tale 'passionate', 'multifaceted' and all of the other clichés that the bot keeps spewing out! Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 11:26, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

Deletion of my two Draft pages - Why?
Please can you explain why the two pages I have created on draft have been completely deleted?
- The first page was for my leader of his own Martial Art. He is in his own right a Grandmaster of WingChun. The page was under his name Draft:Klaus Brand. Please can you bring back the page I spend time creating so I can edit it to satfiy whatever it is that Wikipedia, or you, is not happy with. If you could let me kno what the issue was with the page that would be helpful. All the information I put on there was true and factual.
- As the same above you have dleeted and removed Draft:WingChun page. This is a Martial Art created by the Sifu above Klaus Brnad, it is his system and martial art style. Please bring it back so I can edit it. Please tell me what is the issue with it, again it is 100% factual.
I am a newbie to creating a wiki page so any help you can give would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg Gjwillis (talk) 18:33, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Gjwillis the relevant reasons have already been provided on your user talk page. Klaus Brand was hugely promotional so WP:G11 was used. WingChun was incredibly promotional and contained text copied and pasted from this site. Anyway, I have no power to restore these so could not do so even if I wanted to. User talk:Seraphimblade is where you need to go to appeal Brand and User talk:Justlettersandnumbers for the latter one. If you are not happy with their responses, then you can start an appeal at WP:DRV. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:58, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
